I'm not using any other sound mod

I really like the mod, especially the explosions, the flybys and the ragdoll sounds. But I wish there was I way I could disable the current gun sounds. I have a better gun sound mod installed and I just want it to replace the gun sounds from this mod but it overrides it which is really frustrating me. Can you tell me how I can go about disabling the gun sounds?

I was enjoing your sound mods here since first realistic explosions, and IMURSM makes Insurgency twice as good. If you are still there - Sandstorm needs you :)

This is great, you should make a version of this for Sandstorm

@Canada I've never once had that with this, or Insurgency for that matter, I have however suffered with that problem with Day of Infamy for as long as i remember. It might sound generic but try verifying the game files, might help.

Nice immersion but can you split each weapons because this mod replace custom sounds for other mods.
Exemple, he replace the Glock sound if you use a Glock (it's a specific sound) and it break immersion.
And if you split, can you do make sounds for other popular weapons?

well it doesnt really replace every sound which breaks the immersion so because of that i dislike this mod :/

loved this mod, but about 2-3 weeks in all the cracks and whizzing sounds have turned into electronic screeching that makes me have to rip my fucking headset off at higher volumes.

Elegant sound design. Walking on sand gives a satisfying crunch, shooting an FAL feels powerful, seeing a teamate send round down range gives a great reverb and echo. Cant tell anymore if some sounds are scripted or from players, it all blends in nicely now. Thanks!

The only sound mod to seriously make me flinch when I get shot at.

Why is it that the gunshots I hear at close range sound muffled like they're far away? I already have snd_obstruction_enable set to 1 so what gives?

Atomic - make sure you use snd_obstruction_enable 1 to get the distance thing right.

This mod is so immersive. It really is a perfect fit for those city levels. What I especially appreciate is how the sound collection is cohesive. All the sounds have feel like they are part of the same environment. And the sounds themselves fit really well with the aesthetic of the game. Excellent work! If you don't already work as a sound engineer, you easily could.

Fantastic mod! Probably one of the most complete and realistic sound packs on the workshop.

However, I have one problem:
Gunshot sounds suck at close range, I understand this is probably a problem with insurgency rather than the sound pack itself. However I can barely tell the difference between someone shooting me from 10m and 100m because it sounds so similar, other than that great work!

(Also the dirt or sand footsteps sound like they are from minecraft pls change lol )

Tudo bem! Switched from Realistic Urban Weapon Sounds and so far I really enjoy it. It's a lot cleaner and more cohesive.

I only have two complaints. Maybe it's just a personal preference but I miss how shrill and abrasive some of the RUWS sounds are, especially the MP5k sound. I also don't like the ringing in the ears when you take damage -- I think it's kind of distracting when I'm under fire.

In any case, keep up the great work!

Se você gosta do meu trabalho... com certeza vai adorar esse. Vale a pena. Deu muito mais trabalho a ser feito e a qualidade em comparação aos outros é muito superior, com sons de alta definição.

Não sei se farei algum outro vídeo de demonstração. Provável. Mas eu já fiz esse vídeo aí comentando e coloquei os sons de uma gameplay ao fundo.

Sim, esse mod é um Total Conversion para todas as armas (incluindo os sons de recarregamento), todas as explosões, estalos balísticos, impactos, sons de alguns equipamentos como a visão noturna, sons de passos, efeitos para quando o personagem leva um tiro (sons de coração, zumbido e respiração) e muito mais.
