I have to admit it's on the back-burner but I hope to take a crack at again. I was fully intending to do a tree for Laos and Cambodia but it's proven difficult to find information about them, at least in english.

Good mod allthough rather buggy, tried playing as vietnam, which as you said was finished, and it is, but some of the focuses dont apply there affects, like adding factories to areas. the area of laos and tolkin is still under french control, which i assume shouldnt be like that due to the focus which gives me a war goal against the republic of laos. and finally while i was working around this so i just delcared war on france to gain the terriotory, the game said that southern indochina which is vietnams home area in this mod, was outside my home area and being that it was my only block from the start, ment that i couldnt deploy more troops, good idea just it seems some bugs need ironing out

@Interesting: I made the choice for all of the countries to be puppets to be more historically accurate; that's why they're not independant countries in the base game.

If you really wanted to, you could start as France and release the countries, save it and then reload it as your preferred country and they would all be independant (and really weak).

@Telsion39: The province ID in-game by using the "-debug" command. For the mods, there's a History folder that contains a States folder that specifies to whom each province belongs.

It might also be a problem if you have mods that haven't been updated to 1.2 yet, since they did change the number of states.

@AtlasLegan: No, I decided to force the Communists to keep the illiteracy penalty as part of their theme, although since Bao Dai did abdicate in favor of Ho Chi Minh, I probably should have him do so in the tree.

@nzeli: Thanks for your info. I do believe there's probably a mod conflict somewhere if France has the Tonkin region. And I've found with my Egypt mod, that the Increased Resources mod does not affect the new released countries as the IR mod probably just has the default country tags.

I think France shouldnt have the 3 countries as puppets, i wanted to take over Indochina without fucking with the allies in early game, anyways nice mod please if u have the time make Siam better TY

As Vietnam, are you supposed to have the state Tonkin? because I don't start with it. its owned by France, yet I have National focuses to improve the state, is this a bug or part of the mod?

@Telsion39: That's strange, it works for me. Do you have a mod that might change the provinces? If it changes the province ID, the factories probably won't show up.

bug report: when taking the first civilian factory addition focus (after infrastructure, the left path) it should add 2 civilian factories, but it didnt add 2, but it added 0. I waited 10 in game days, but they still didnt show up.

Ah, I see. I should've looked a bit more. I just seen that I was a puppet and because I had some trouble before playing as Mengkukuo (puppet of Japan) I assumed there was no way to change. Well done!

Well, actually, you can stop being a puppet by going through the Focus Tree. If you go Communist or Fascist, you will have to go through a civil war but if you go the Democratic or Neutral route, you can peacfully stop being a puppet.

Could you consider making a version where the three countries aren't puppets of France? It's kind of annoying as there is no way to make a country not a puppet in game (as far as I know anyway)

@TheGamingNinja: I was considering having it that the countries were free at the start but decided that having them French puppets would be the best compromise between being historical and allowing freedom.

@Heatmiza: I'm not sure what you're referring to as 'France land'. I have to admit I haven't playtested this much so I'm not sure what bugs there are.

@Skyrocket If you are referring to PSyrius' SEA mod, it reorganizes and creates new states on the map, so it will require more involved work to adjust to, which I plan to do in the future.

I do plan to add localisation and descriptions, I just decided to upload it as is because they're not 'necessary'. As for mod conflicts, I'm not sure what I can do, it's about as bare-bones as it can get and I'm not sure what would be in conflict (the history files?)
