It works if you use the AML as with most vanilla mods not designed for WOTC.

I always thought they where speaking in a distorted English because I would hear them saying words like march, or I NEED SUPPORT, or just STOP and stuff like that.

Did you record people saying things like "Kill Shot", then apply ADVENT affects and stuff to it?

Absolutely stunning work, well done! Thank you for sharing this awesome piece of art.

I've added also a MEC voice to the mod pack. This makes it even more fun! Sadly enough there are no Sectoid ones or even a Viper voice :( But that is an entirely different area of cource, this is only for the troops. But how amazing would that be?!

Hi first Thanks for this mod ,its very nice

For add the Advent voice of this mod to the Skirmisher character or Non-Skirmisher ADVENT Hybrids mod character (for exemple) isnt very hard, you need edit 2 files :

- XcomContent.ini (in config directory of this mod)

- XComGame.int (or the file of your language if you have make a localized file in localization directory of this mod)

i share my personal edit if you want look or use

Precisely on this base. Is just english in a hard to read fountain. If you zoom in and pay attention you can read alien and will find out the text comes from Lorem Ipsum!

Sometimes when they get a kill... it's seems to me that some phrases indicate...
Enemy eliminated - it's almost always the same thing they say in this situation... or For the Elders when they sheer up i believe.
But like i said, all "speculation" for they gave us no translation.

No ONE knows. The Advent language seems unknown to X-COM except their encryption.
That's why the troops call them "Jabbers" or "Blabbers"
Mor Balaten - Seems like - Identify yourself or something... like an imposition though.
I can't tell for sure, there's no translator nor firaxis gave us anything.

I hardly see how making similar mods is disrespectful to anyone. Sometimes the author wants to do things differently (see the Mass Effect packs where the newer ones by a different author have different line choices and don't reference characters by name), sometimes the previous mod isn't being updated. The only situation where I can see any fault is when the new author steals the old author's work to pass off as his own.

I didn't copy anything. This mods contains audiofiles, while the other mod doesn't! Look at the size as well. I've recorded all the sounds possible and made my own Sound Cue's. The reason why I created this mod is fact that the other mod had missing voices and sounds when the voice wasn't selected by any active soldier in the field during tactical combat. This is an actual voice pack with recorded sounds just like any other voice pack. Advent will NOT go silent with this mod. Please feel free to open up my mod package and compare it with the other Advent voice pack. You'll be surprised...

There are plenty of users who have reported that mod causing ADVENT units to go silent. Even if the mod worked fine and was kept up to date, anyone could make something similar, that's just the way it is. In fact, as long as someone didn't directly copy any material from another modder they could duplicate 100% any mod here on the workshop. And then they could sit back and laugh while all the Legion Primes whined and cryed and the other author likely sends a simple 'good work, how is it you went about this or that?' I'm getting unfocused now, the point is, you are a dumb person saying dumb things and when I rule the world you will be burned at stake. Enjoy.

Legion, Plumse's mod appears to be both outdated and broken. Spanutch is well within his right to revitalize a dead mod, and good on him for doing so!

Furthermore it's hardly theft, Fireaxis owns the copyright of the Advent voices, not Plumse.

In the future, please be less of an ass-hat.

you know this gets me thinking, could you make a mod that makes the Enemies talk more, they only talk on reveal and flanks and what not, to make the battle feel more lively perhaps give them movement VO
