i thought this mod allowed merchants to fight back against hostile enemys because once i spot a merchant they get killed by a guy in purple or black armor (forgot the names of those enemys) or just get killed by every ordinary hostile mob but maby you can add it because that would be nice

@ LagiaDOS Not sure if its compatible.im browsing the comments on my subscribed mods to find out what causes all merchants to die (and dropping items).
Thats especially noticeable if you´re in a settlement of your ownb and every few seconds a merchants spawndies at the colony deed...

one thing i noticed is that merchants sell canned food for 40 pixels which is very cheap considering it give 75% hunger

Actually, Sodas can be found in vending machines found in USCM Prisons and Hylotl Cities.
To get the machine from a Hylotl City, you must find and deactivate it's shield generator. (Don't forget to repower it!)

vinchen- well, they probably get the rare items from passing explorers who sold them for quick pixels.

This sounds nice... in vanilla merchants have a very tiny chance of selling flashlights and crops, but its very tiny... and only cooks/chefs sell sodas and its a very small chance... even worse is no-one sells ship-fuels except for the gas-station at the outpost. This mod is great add-on as a result.
However... are the super rare items logical for each merchant and their race/biome? I don't want to buy a gun, armor, vanity, or furniture item from a merchant that makes no sense for them to ever have or sell it.
