the creator of the map is going to spawn on earth, it pisses me off that I'm constantly dying in it, like when I enter the world, I fall to the ground and die

what could be the problem when when creating a file through the console an error appears with an incorrect location of the path to the folder

why the hell doesnt this work it has the unlocker in the files but i cannot edit the map :/

They either deleted the wiki page of "How To Unlock Every Map" or it didin't exist
What you'd want to do is create a file call it ".unlocker" and put it in the map folder
(The map is located in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\304930\772083776\Insane Size Template)

@FestiveHaul85 if you look at his insane sized map the driftless russia being a large map is only a quarter of it or less so it would be atleast times 4

@Storm_Epidemic. Hmm. A large map heightmap is 513x513 times by 2 = 1026x1026. I know this from a medium size template times by 2 is a large template. I put a heightmap of North America into the template and it worked. The only problem was I couldn't edit it...

If you want to import a heightmap into this, the dimesions should be approximately 1026x1026.

if you take a heightmap of iceland and throw that into an insane sized map i think it would be 1:1 scale

The insane size map is supported in the game despite not being officially createable. I made it during a hex editor on the level.dat file which exists in every map folder. Any map larger than this one isn't supported by the game and is very broken and is likely to crash your game or corrupt it.

You can crate map sizes which are biger than large but smaller than insane, using Photoshop or Gimp!

@Vak_Modz @Wolfe Meister As of right now, i am completely unaware if expanding ANY map is even possible. I know that it is possible to extend the area outside a map using the Chunks tool. But the world border cannot be moved as of right now. If it can, tell me.

@wolfe yes we know but the insane sized template is still here for a larger load so then you can add chunks to that to make it even larger!

Guys there is no need to make an insane map any more, you can now in the dev editor add "chunks" to the map

Not in game files go to steamapps then workshop them the unturned game numbers should start with a 3 and then find the mod number whciu should start it a 3 or 4 or 6 or 5 or 7

remember right click then select new then select text doc then delete the whole word and the .txt and remane it to .unlocker. so then the file is an unlocker file!

omg its not hard just open the folder then click on New then select New Text Doc then rename the whole text doc to .unlocker.
