But for new models it completely depends on your ability to 3d model. It's a skill that takes a while to learn and the furthest I got with it was creating an M1911 pistol, but then I ran into other issues.
Yeah, feel free to use them and good luck with your mod.
No update currently. I still have know idea what is breaking the textures after last update. I've been working on it though.
A second reskin depicting the HBTs with tan camo helmet cover would be excellent!
I was planning on representing the uniforms used at Tarawa, but I wouldn't be against making another reskin that is green with only the helmet cover.

The iconic look for US marines in WW2 would be having them in the green HBTs, with mustard yellow leggings and the camoflage helmet cover. This is what they wore in most of their campaigns after Guadalcanal. Regarding whether to use the green or the tan camo, the tan is more iconic and was used more often during the war. This was, from what I recall, because marines were instructed to wear the tan side out during landings because it'd blend in better with the sand of the beaches. After the initial landings they were ideally supposed to switch to the green side, but this rarely ever happened.
In regards to colour, I'd probably go for the green one seeing as it will look in place on all theaters.
Thanks again for the mods.
Currently, the USMC reskins are due for an update. I plan on recreating the entire camouflage texture to make it more accurate, but since it is a camouflage it will take a little longer than the other reskins.
I'm not sure whether I should use this

or this

as a color reference.
Either one though is planned to be less bright compared to the current one.
Would it be possible to make the lighter colour on the USMC reskin to be less bright. It stands out too much and looks too clean next to other units.
I want to wait and see if paradox releases any new paratrooper models before creating reskins because the paratrooper uniforms look extremely different compared to the infantry units we have ingame.
