pressuresome in any way I'm sorry; I didn't mean to.
decide to do that or not; sooner or later
I'll get it done.
several people who will charge as little as
$10 or $20 to do models. I'm serious. I've
seen them.
all this. I think it'll probably work; it'll just take time.
It's looking very good already.
well how to use Blender because he's watched tutorials
of other people online using things just like it, so that's
also a good start.
four-legged models. Mr. Marco1003 made
a working Spyro model and it walks great. So yeah
people can do it, but its complicated. I even tried to
learn to make my own playermodels and got into Blender
and had no idea what I was supposed to do. This is why I
can't make stuff myself. So I just need to be patient and
wait for either my friend to do this for me or, if not, somebody
else. It doesn't have to be you. But for now I'm just going to
drop this. So my friend knows what he's doing I'm first going
to have him make these ragdolls with faceflexing into
playermodels. It will probably be successful; the models I'm
having him base the skeleton of these ragdolls off of that he's
going to make physically match the skeleton these new playermodels
need to have. I'm going to have him do that first. Then he'll probably
be ready to rig the Spyro model up for me. We're taking this one
step at a time.
I'm sorry I can't be much help. I've gotten frustrated with the Source Engine enough with this. Learning the in's and out's is like pulling teeth, even WITH Valve's own resources lol. When I do have time I'll poke around some more and learn something new. Maybe in the future I'll manage to figure it all out and get something done, but now I can't promise anything.
Things haven't been going great on my end so I don't have as much time to invest in a project like this anymore, which is why I am willing to pass the torch on to anyone who wants to make an attempt.
enough.
make this a playermodel but it may not work or it may take a while, so in the meantime, in case he can't do it, see if you can find someone willing to be paid to port this over as a Gmod playermodel and keep the faceposing features so people can use the "Facepose Me" tool with it. Also I'm not going to really put a deadline on it other than to say I would like for it to be up and on the Workshop by either Christmas or New Year's of 2022. That should give you plenty of time. And of course if it doesn't work out, I understand. No hard feelings. But I expect it MIGHT be done by either of those times.
hire someone to make this into a playermodel for Garrysmod
and keep the faceposing if possible. Let's see if he'll take the
offer.
a private thing for me to enjoy myself. But I'm sure
you'll find somebody to make this a playermodel.
Reason I want to keep it to myself is because of
Internet trolls and all that; don't want to get harassed.
I've seen a lot of trolls on here and they say some pretty
mean (and vile) things to people when they don't like their
addons. I just don't want to deal with that drama.
Bye.
agreed to port this over and make it into
a faceposable playermodel. However, out
of respect to you, I'm going to just keep
this playermodel for myself and I am not
going to publish it to the Gmod or SFM
Workshop. I hope this is ok. I suspected it
would be, but I needed to ask just to be sure.
say no it's fine; I've literally requested something like this a bunch
of times already and always got turned down so I kind of expect it.
But I guess we'll see.
you said earlier you don't do requests, and if you do say no
I respect your preferences, but...well....anyway.....I happen
to have a faceposable Garry's Mod playermodel of Reignited
Spyro but not one of my favorite incarnation of him, which is
the one from TLOS. This of course is a bummer for me; I literally
have a player faceposing tool and I'd love to have a playermodel of
TLOS Spyro and be able to, for example, before battling NPCs pose
his face to make it look like he is getting ready to fight. Given the fact
that I know how much time and effort it takes to make a playermodel,
this is literally the only request I will ever make. I was wondering
if you might please consider making this into a playermodel for Garry's
Mod, and keep the faceposing.
However I can give you some blender tutorials since it looks like the model only needs a rig and import
Porting them is just difficult
By any chance, are you going to work on young Cynder as well?
Source is giving me some issues at the moment but two new models should be ported soon
Cynder has her texture and is ready to rig
Crash Bandicoot Models aren't in my possession
I'm just having trouble rigging him
