Quite a sudden annoucement, this mod is considered out-of-date and passed onto Ded Miller to continue with the support of the mod. You can find the newer version in the link given in the description above.

@freexavier I would prefer contact over Discord. Invite code: 8emCVsz
If you don't use discord you can just send me a friend request and we'll handle that via steam.

@Panzer
Decided to come to my mod to check it out. So, there is a new version out? It's unlikely I will be able to redo the mod with my even more busy life. Everyday I can barely get enough time for sleep. I might just actually try to contact the TFR team and pass them my files to hopefully have them intergrated into the mod or some form of addon.
I'm having troubles right now finding ways to contact them as their website is currently down from the time writing this. I can't seem to also find any other way to contact them. Hopefully I can add them as friends to be able to PM them. I will try to follow up when I can.

Since the Beta for new TFAR is out, would is be possible to either drop the requirement for task_force_radio or make a new identical mod but make it require the new version of TFAR?
Drift_91 21 Jun, 2018 @ 2:04pm
@Kerozen Here's the links to the templates from TFAR's Github:
https://github.com/michail-nikolaev/task-force-arma-3-radio/blob/1.0/extra/textures/dropbox.txt

I'm assuming the texture you're looking for is in textures.zip on the first Google Drive link.

Awesome Additions!

Do you have a template for the reskin that you can share?
KEVMEISTER 18 Mar, 2018 @ 11:29am
could you add a ucp heavy carrier vest, not important why but ive been searching all over 4 1
Taizan 12 Feb, 2018 @ 7:03am
Is ithis now compatible with TFAR 1.0? Else wise can you give permission to reuse & edit for own modpack?
freexavier  [author] 23 Dec, 2017 @ 11:07pm
Sorry for the late reply. As for donating it to the TFAR team, I've been thinking about that. Also, as well for other sorts of content publicly such as screenshots that I haven't released. Not anytime soon, but possibly next year when I have the time.
[NZF]JD Wang 10 Dec, 2017 @ 2:27pm
Hey thanks for doing this. Sorry to see you're lacking the time for games I hope it's on to bigger and brighter things.
Just a thought, seen as you won't be working on this anymore, have you given any thought to donating it to the TFAR mod? Would be great to see all the extra camos in the mod by default. Always frustrating to have to download another mod just to match the RHS UCP.
freexavier  [author] 24 Nov, 2017 @ 7:57pm
As an update of the mod and my life, I have moved on in life and been every hard busy with lots work, so I'm sorry to announce that I may not add anything new to my mod any further.
I will still try my best to see if I can update my mod if something breaks, but can't entirely promise that, but will do my best.
My life has just has changed a lot over the past month and me simply unable to have any time for video games. My time filled with lots of work and when I do have free time, that's usually when I am hanging out to relax and to have fun or busy with my new found hobby that I'm very passionate for. Sorry to sadly bring this up for those who are looking forward to me adding new content.
freexavier  [author] 19 Jun, 2017 @ 11:44pm
I see. I just have to simply add the other scopes to simply make it compatible?
Dedmen Miller 19 Jun, 2017 @ 10:01am
You have the current Stable as required. But there is also the 1.0 version which is currently in beta-phase.
freexavier  [author] 18 Jun, 2017 @ 11:21pm
This TFR you speak of is the one that I set my mod to require right?
Dedmen Miller 18 Jun, 2017 @ 10:29am
1.0 is a newer version of TFAR. For compatability you have to set scope/scopeCurator/scopeArsenal after you inherit from the TFAR class.
freexavier  [author] 18 Jun, 2017 @ 8:31am
@Dedmen Miller
I can't guarantee if my mod would be compatible with older versions of TFR. I have only had test with the TFR version that is on the Steam Workshop.
Dedmen Miller 18 Jun, 2017 @ 7:56am
Does this support TFAR 1.0 ?
freexavier  [author] 29 Apr, 2017 @ 8:38am
Thanks. Also, thank you to all of you as well for putting my mod to use and having fun in using it. Makes the effort worth it.
TheDragon117 29 Apr, 2017 @ 8:23am
AWESOME! Thank you so much Xavier you rock!
Kola 27 Apr, 2017 @ 8:03am
good job!
freexavier  [author] 26 Apr, 2017 @ 10:12pm
GOOD NEWS! Finally relaesed it today; version 1.2. Hope you all have fun using my mod!
freexavier  [author] 26 Apr, 2017 @ 9:21pm
Important note! I will be changing the classnames to avoid any future conflicting nameclass names with TFR if they do plan to update and add new camo varients themselves.
This means that any saved loadouts will need a user to put back the backpacks back on again.
Sir waffles 26 Apr, 2017 @ 3:42am
take all the time you want bro ^^
freexavier  [author] 26 Apr, 2017 @ 3:31am
Another update, hopefully, if I don't lazy off and forget again , I should be able to release it this week after 1 week overdue.
freexavier  [author] 20 Apr, 2017 @ 10:32pm
Also, as an update, I couldn't release the update this week. Will try get through with it eventually.
Unitatoe24 20 Apr, 2017 @ 9:44pm
yup, my bad. didnt think it would matter
freexavier  [author] 20 Apr, 2017 @ 6:05pm
I see. So you just got the wrong compatible mod then.
Unitatoe24 20 Apr, 2017 @ 12:20pm
Okay now its showing up. it appears that it wasnt even showing up before. i was using a different task force radio. the one that was claiming to be released by the official team. didnt think it would make a difference.
Unitatoe24 20 Apr, 2017 @ 11:57am
whats it listed as?
Sir waffles 20 Apr, 2017 @ 11:51am
ive got the UCP variant i think you might just need to re sub to the mod
Unitatoe24 20 Apr, 2017 @ 11:46am
yeah i dont see a ucp variant
freexavier  [author] 19 Apr, 2017 @ 9:29pm
You sure? Note that they're backpacks require TFR, and only for 'RT-1523G' type of radio.
Unitatoe24 19 Apr, 2017 @ 9:14pm
i'm not sure if its just not in there but i cant find the UCP variant
TheDragon117 16 Apr, 2017 @ 7:31am
Creative process takes time, I appreciate your hard work and certainly don't mind the wait, still grateful you are willing to add to your project to suit our needs.
freexavier  [author] 16 Apr, 2017 @ 7:12am
Sorry to tell you guys, but there would likely be a delay in releasing the new update. Somewhere around the middle of this week or the end of the week. A bit tight in a few things.
TheDragon117 12 Apr, 2017 @ 5:45am
Looking forward to it!
Sir waffles 12 Apr, 2017 @ 2:51am
i hope you enjoyed your vacation
freexavier  [author] 11 Apr, 2017 @ 9:46pm
Update, I returned from my vacation. I won't possibly be able to do much within this week until Monday.
I ran into some curruption in my OS, which I had to reset, but my projects are safe at my other drives, so nothing lost. I just need to re-install some tools to continue the work.
I should be able to properly release new updates for my mod somewhere next week.
TheDragon117 1 Apr, 2017 @ 9:52am
Good things come to those who wait, I hope you enjoy your vacation with your family and thanks for your hard work!
freexavier  [author] 1 Apr, 2017 @ 1:07am
I have currently have created the 'MARPAT Woodland', 'MARPAT Desert', 'CTRG'(Camo), and 'CTRG Green'. As well some textual improvements to the 'UCP' varients.

Although, due to real life circumstance of an near upcoming family vaction, I may not be able to properly publish these anytime soon before the 12th.

So, I might have to put a hold on the release of these updates until I am able to return home to have more time. That being around the 11th to 12th.

That way, 1) I can have time to properly check if I made any incorrections, 2) finalize some logos and distinguishing identity, 3) create proper screenshots for the Workshop to showcase the backpacks, 4) consider sharing in reddit and BIStudio forums, 5) and to maybe create those other requested camos, being 'Multicam', 'M81', 'Black', and 'Ranger Green'.
TheDragon117 31 Mar, 2017 @ 9:05am
You my friend are a gentleman and a scholar. I mostly use the two radio types that you've done the R-T15236 (ASIP) and the Big variant. My favorite camos to use are the Frog Marpat woodland and desert depending on the map, and the UCP and OCP (loving having the UCP now). If you felt like it I love the RHS G3's Multicam, M81, Black or Ranger Green for my special forces teams but you're already being so kind as to consider the others I'd be grateful for any that you're willing to do.
freexavier  [author] 31 Mar, 2017 @ 12:45am
Also, as an addition. Which radios type(the number and not the model) do you guys wish to have the camos?
freexavier  [author] 30 Mar, 2017 @ 6:36pm
@steffan ~happy~ @AL) TheDragon117 I will be working on them, but will require some time. The most time consuming part of creating the camo is mostly trying to match the colors.
TheDragon117 30 Mar, 2017 @ 6:07am
@freeXavier Wow, that would be awesome, I've not worked with editing assets before and it would really be kind of you to do that for me, my unit would also really appreciate it, and I would love to acknowledge you in the credits of any missions I make using them.
Sir waffles 29 Mar, 2017 @ 10:30pm
@freexazier that is correct it would be pretty awesome if you did that
freexavier  [author] 29 Mar, 2017 @ 10:21pm
@Steffan Clarke I can be able to. Although, I would require to custom create those camos. I will consider thinking of making it. Also, I assume you refer both the normal one and the Apex green one as well?
Sir waffles 29 Mar, 2017 @ 8:12pm
@freexavier would it be possible for you to make a CTRG camo?
freexavier  [author] 29 Mar, 2017 @ 6:30pm
@AL) TheDragon117 Intitially, it was hard, due to me needing create a template to easy work on.
Now of course, it should be easy for me to create another camo varient for the existing 2 model types of backpacks.
If you want, I can be able to create both another set of Woodland and Desert MARPAT varients, if you need of it.
TheDragon117 29 Mar, 2017 @ 9:26am
This is actually something I was hoping to find, though I was hoping to match several of the camos, including the marpat and such from RHS US forces, was this terribly difficult to make?
Sir waffles 13 Nov, 2016 @ 5:27am
this is brilleant thanks for the mod brother :)
