Hey, I used your creation in a photo, I hope you don't mind. Credit was placed linking your name and this page.
Kieve  [author] 7 May, 2018 @ 6:21pm
I have actually been thinking of updating it (or making a new one) for A8 ;)
...The same is true for many of my BPs, they're starting to feel very dated and many have not been touched since Version 5 or earlier.
Kyrt Malthorn 7 May, 2018 @ 5:23pm
Been a while since this came out. Still think it's beautiful.

Признайся, что пытался оракула тосов из СК2 сделать)

Nice! I like making halo builds myself.
Kieve  [author] 16 Dec, 2017 @ 6:11am
Yeah, it's the "Thousand Monkeys with Typewriters" problem. Completely different inspiration and source material, "original" design, but it ends up being eerily similar to something I had no knowledge of - it's not the first time this has happened with my creative works and I'm sure it won't be the last. ;)

Still, I've gone and added a disclaimer for all the SC fans out there.
VulcanTourist 16 Dec, 2017 @ 5:55am
Not just a name, a similar appearance! Their game units had designs which seemed fragile or even contrary to physics, but at least one ship/aircraft in particular, forget the name, had a design of seemingly disconnected pieces, exactly as you have done here, and even also asymmetrical as yours. So those of us thinking you intended it was no coincidence at all!
Kieve  [author] 16 Dec, 2017 @ 5:37am
It might further surprise you to know that this ship is not inspired by SC :)

I had no idea what the reference was until people kept bringing it up and I did a search, but the KSV-33 has absolutely no relation to Supreme Commander in any way - it is an original design that just happens to bear the same name.
VulcanTourist 15 Dec, 2017 @ 11:26pm
I was genuinely surprised to find a ship here inspired by SC:FA, and a Seraphim one at that.
Maks2103 24 Oct, 2017 @ 9:02am
Awesome work! Looks like Seraphim ships from Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance game.
Secrette 4 Jun, 2017 @ 12:23am
Looks amazing dude :D
Kieve  [author] 19 Dec, 2016 @ 11:40am
@Draconator - That would be the Nephilim . ;)
Seitaad 19 Dec, 2016 @ 4:54am
Holy crap, how is that even possible to put together in the blueprints?
I'm looking forward for a CV inspired by this design
Tigersin 4 Dec, 2016 @ 3:21am
You inspired me to build a PvP ship with this concept my wife and I have finished the functional parts but still need to Deco and paint it iv tested it in combat and it performs above expected when finished I'll add u as inspection and a little k to ur ship TS Crystal wip is the ship if u frend me
Kieve  [author] 27 Nov, 2016 @ 3:33pm
I think it's more likely they'll implement thruster-exhaust damage first, which would also cause serious issues with the Seraphim. But because of the changes to block weights in 4.0+, her handling took a nose-dive anyway and I'm waiting to update on the hope we get a T2 RCS for SVs to compensate.

Even if structural integrity is implemented for ships, I'm sure I'll find a way to keep the style relatively intact, though I might have to be more clever in my "floating" attachments to do it. Despite the disconnected appearance, you'll find there's actually very little empty block space between the different sections :)
LostManAbroad 27 Nov, 2016 @ 8:13am
I love the design but at some point further in the development of this game I will not be surprised to find in no longer works when they have implemented some physics that affect parts separated from your ship.
TheDerpyDeed 15 Nov, 2016 @ 4:20pm
Did not know parts could be separated and still fly?
Thinking I will call this space magic company and apply as a designer aswell, this seems like something I would make... if I understood the messed up building mechanics, that is...
Anyhow, it's a wonderful build, will deffo subscribe aswell
GreenCat 16 Oct, 2016 @ 5:19am
beautiful ship. I understand how you built it, and it's an amazing idea. I build on the principle of your CV, but I hope to see your version of the CV. thanks
Kieve  [author] 15 Oct, 2016 @ 2:37pm
Cykachu - I'm not sure either, but I'm thinking it might've been Wingardium Leviosa.
daklo 15 Oct, 2016 @ 2:56am
I don't know what kind of magical spell that is, but I can only say that you did a really good job. It looks beatiful!
Jeffman12 14 Oct, 2016 @ 10:49pm
Now if only there was a way to reconfigure in flight.
Kieve  [author] 14 Oct, 2016 @ 5:49pm
People keep asking that, I'm thinking I may have to put a disclaimer in the description. No, it is not, I have never played any of the Supreme Commander games. However, after googling "Supreme Commander Seraphim," I can understand why so many are drawing the comparison.
Marcus Astronomius 14 Oct, 2016 @ 5:46pm
Is this an inspiration right out of Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance?
Nazareim 14 Oct, 2016 @ 2:39pm
Damn this is a nice ship :steamhappy:
Taoin 14 Oct, 2016 @ 4:28am
Beautiful
Maverick 13 Oct, 2016 @ 6:50pm
Beautiful, elegant and asesthetic yet still highly practical. I salute you sir! Just wish there was a way to make the outer hull area glow gold (Or at least have more of a glowing tint of gold) without adding lights to the outside (or inside)
piddlefoot 13 Oct, 2016 @ 6:12pm
Coolio !
Wrayth 13 Oct, 2016 @ 5:35pm
This is the best ship I've seen on Empyrion.
Warchild8 13 Oct, 2016 @ 4:57pm
hay Bloodreaper, i take it you don,t do much building?
Kieve  [author] 13 Oct, 2016 @ 1:14pm
Glad you folks are enjoying it. :) As always, I am deeply flattered and impressed by the positive response.

And remember, if you like it, please consider giving it a thumbs-up!
Jaspis 13 Oct, 2016 @ 12:12pm
Naaaaice
jon 13 Oct, 2016 @ 11:41am
I can see this design starting a trend! Absolutely amazing craft - worth building half a dozen so you can see it from all angles. Awesome can be over-used; not in this case.
Zierus 13 Oct, 2016 @ 11:08am
oh alright.
☭Android☭ 13 Oct, 2016 @ 10:56am
ok
Kieve  [author] 13 Oct, 2016 @ 10:34am
Android - no, but having looked up "Supreme Commander Seraphim," I can understand why everyone keeps thinking that. If I had played that game, they'd probably have been my faction of choice anyway.
Bloodreaper - not quite, but you are right about it being part of Empyrion's building mechanics. Dank Soldier is probably more on point (consider how a minecraft torch takes up a "block" space, even though it is not a full block itself). Angle and wall blocks work much the same here.
☭Android☭ 13 Oct, 2016 @ 10:31am
SupCom?
Zierus 13 Oct, 2016 @ 9:49am
its just the building mechanics of empyrion, he built it whole and then just deleted some blocks. No secret behind that.
[RDHK] Dank Soldier 13 Oct, 2016 @ 4:39am
Lol i think i know why they stay together (some minecraft logic here, just saying).
Kieve  [author] 13 Oct, 2016 @ 12:13am
Download it and see for yourself? ;)
-Rival- 12 Oct, 2016 @ 11:44pm
i want to know how you got the all the ships parts joined but i know you wont let that secret out ;P
SHELTER Laboratories 12 Oct, 2016 @ 8:54pm

Very Nice !!! :steamhappy: Supreme Commander Forever :steamhappy:
Diamyo 12 Oct, 2016 @ 7:00am
Beautiful...just beautiful.
Savinwraith 11 Oct, 2016 @ 11:40pm
I really like the creativity behind your design, It is very well done and i love seeing ships that are different from the flying bricks that are far too common.
