a/ you are using a mod that is not designed to work with this mod;
b/ your load order is incorrect - this mod is sitting above the physics mods, as it is of the same cat, but needs to loaded above it or similar to that mods.
No, currently I am on 1.52.0.6s if I am not mistaken with sub-version numbers. Dunno why, it seems better to me using this Mod rather than not. Maybe it's all in my mind, meaning it's an impression of mine. I am sorry, didn't want to interfere in this discussion, but honestly seems to me the Mod is working just fine as it ever did. I am actually using this very Mod since late 2019 (or soon after, cannot remember, anyway it's been a long time) and I am really not noticing any issues, while instead I treasure it so much, because of the poor lights introduced by SCS starting with release of 1.41 in April 2021 and all following releases.
Anyway, I truthfully hope that you find what you are looking for, mate.
Cheers,
Works fine indeed, for me at least. It works well beyond 'nothing', since at least it triples the front lights intensity (vanilla compared is still one third at the least). Maybe you have a MOD incompatibility of some kind? Just wondering...
Killer job on this one love the car lights coming up as they pass and traffic lights looks amazing as they pass and fade away.
Thank You!
Thank you for this!
The hit though is worth it as I consider this one of those essential mods for both games. Just hope the engine eventually going multi core will minimize big performance impacts like this.

It might.
Not as much as in ETS2 (another MOD from the same author, but in ETS2 more lights are available which in ATS are not), and this happens since this MOD basically makes every light source visible on every surface in regard of own vehicle lights, thus making the graphic card work more especially with additional light-sources on roof and front of the truck (only in ETS2 as said, but still...). Anyway even in ATS this MOD still doubles the light sources for the headlights, so experiment a bit. It very well might work flawlessly so ultimately the only way of discovering the results is by trial and error. But trust me, give it a try because it brings very nice results.
Good luck! :)
v7.4 is out. Changelog:
– Updated light source definitions for ATS 1.50
– Added support for HashFS v2 format, enabling more efficient loading of mod data
– Implemented minor bug fixes
