can you build on the elevator platforms?

added this mod as its good in principle adding floors levels to find the first lift rail snaps always backwards lift call button snaps backwards the lift option menu height indercate always set to 0 so when adding floors list just go's to top of lift rail

can u give or add the config setting for server that can be more easy to fix speed problem

Is it possible to make the elevator platform not to require foundation support? I have built a tall building out of modded pieces and would like to have elevators between upper floors, but if I place the elevator track "free-hand" then platform doesn't attach to it because it lacks foundation support. The only way how I have managed to create foundation support is to use metal fence foundations but these snap only to edge of floor panels, so that elevator track and platform are not properly aligned to floor panels but there is big gap between back wall of elevator shaft and elevator platform.

this thing only snaps side ways. makes it kinda useless = 3= had to use original elevators since only they would snap properly to foundations. maybe it's a conflict with structures plus but I ain't uninstalling SP to find out = 3=

Many of us, on our server, are using this mod. It is one of the server-installed mods here. If you want, i can give you some suggestions. But the mod, as it is, is great!

Already saved it in the cloud and on my gitlab server, as i know its frustrating to loose all hard work.. If i would ever give up on modding i would opensource all my mods, so my mods might live longer.

To my knowledge, the Mod Development Kit is known for its notorious habit to cause harddrive crashes, which means loss of all mod developer files. Best to create backup copies on other harddrives or online (clouds9.

And if you ever should decide to give up, please make the developer files of your great and very useful mod available to your fan community, as many gamers and games depend on your mod. Use a website like "GitHub" or so. That will allow some of your fan community, to continue to update and upgrade your amazing mod. Too many modders gave up after they lost all files. HDD crashes are the main reason. I don't want this to happen to this mod. :-D

On our server, MANY are using it. I will ask our members to give me information on any problems they encounter.

Not sure if it's still workin cause the last update was long time ago... normally it should move but only in multiplayer... the singleplayer thing seems to be broken unless you are hosting it dedicated

Setting up the floors via the menu, I set heights and stuff but when I tell the elevator which floor to go to, it doesn't move. It's infuriating when I've done it right but the elevator refuses to move.

Hello, I have a small issue.
Im trying to build elevator up the cliff (pretty high), however,
maximum height elevator goes ends few meters under level of cliff.
Is there any setting I can change to increase it, or do I have to upbuild foundations on bottom?

Hi, we have the problem that the call button does not work.
If you have set it correctly and then want to use the E key, nothing happens.

Mmmh I guess this mod is not working anymore. I cant move between floors, no matter if I set manually the height or Im playing local multiplayer. IT doesnt simple move. Only go down or up work.

Same problem: The XS cabin overlaps with the next floor ceilings...

Is there any way to allign the XS cabin so that it fits within a single floor square? Currenlty I can only seen to align it so either A: It overlaps the next floor tile and kicks me out of the elevator or B: there is an undesirable gap between the cabin and the floor tiles.

It seems the elevator is inable to read to Z-Axis of itself, therefore the value "Current Height" is always 0, therefore even adding floors with manual input don't help because the elevator has no way of detecting were it is.

I also tried placing a bedroll onto it. The map shows a really strange position for it.

Maybe the mod developer can get the current Z-location of the elevator from another source in case it's a SP game.

Glad I'm not the only one with the inability to make the elevator move to the specified floors. Also, is there a way to make it move through obstructions?

Painkiller i used that work around and that didnt even work for me, in the menu the z location was clearly typed in and between the numbers it was supposed to be and added and named as a floor, but when i selected the floors in the menu it either went all the way to the top or bottom no matter what.....this doesnt function in single player, at least not in my experience

My elevator won't move when I choose to go to a set floor. It doesn't matter if I use the "Add floor at current height" or "Manual add floor." I'm on a private dedicated server. The elevator will only go from the bottom of the track to the top. Any suggestions?

hey how do you change up opbstruct it seems to be set to 80 and thats just too low the elevator will only go half the distance i need it wont go past like 8 floors and nothing is obstructing it

@Sander&Leonardo: the current height isn't replicated on singleplayer, therefore you can't use the "add floor at current height" function. There are 2 possibilities to overcome that: start your savegame as local multiplayer or use the "manual add floor" function and using the height your character is at ("admincheat setcheatplayer true" -> Z-Value)

I have the same Problem how SanderPlayzz1965. If I want to add a floor 'current height' it says '' 0 '' and i can't add a floor.

I have a problem with making floors, I play on single player. If I want to add a floor, I'm going to 'open menu' and if I want to check 'current height', it says '' 0 '' so I can not add floor. If I try to reach the correct floor, I need to press E for about 1 minute before I'm on the right floor. Is there a solution for that?

Please allow to build our own custom structures onto the platforms, so we can design our own cabins. Also add a platform that is more than huge, to allow an entire home to go up or down (if custom structures are possible to be built onto the platforms).
