Will there be a new fashion update "New Generic Tree" that will work with the new version of Hearts of Iron 4 or 1.5.5 or 1.6 with the new DLC - Hearts of Iron IV: Man the Guns? I would like to play this fashion in the new version of Hearts of Iron IV. I now have a new version of Hearts of Iron IV with the new DLC- Hearts of Iron IV: Man the Guns.

I think an industry trade-off for the manpower would be cool, that way you can choose what you need and it not be too strong. Thinking of Brazil or Turkey where the manpower bonuses are pretty overkill.

Thanks for the support. Anything you'd like to see in the future? I was debating using some of the new Waking the Tiger stuff from the China trees, like seeking support from either the Allies or Axis kinda deal.

I'll suggest that you could change the political part of the focus tree in a way so the daily ideology boost wouldn't last forever

I would also suggest that you put neutrality under its own thing and no liberty becuase many of the countries that were non aligned were still dictators, so havin them go down somehing that says liberty is not really true

Just a suggestion is for the political focuses order them like this, from left to right, communism, democacy, neurality, naionalism. I think it would make more sense and look better.

Fixed Graphical Error

Updated to 1.4.x!

Added Rally the People to Why We Fight, giving a 5% Recruitable Pop bonus. Now there's a reason to go Democratic or Neutral!

@LordCameron Thanks for the feedback! I have previously added Manpower bonuses to the other trees, but I will take another at balancing them.

In the past I have tried adding resources to random states and it usually ended in crashes. Still haven't gotten that to work.

2 things i would like added here. First is the most important give a say 5% manpower boost to all lines like democratic, commy, and neutral to so you are not forced to go facists for the huge manpower buff as most generic focus countries will have to go facist in the generic tree.

Secondly you should add a small amount of resources to the tree. give say 16 to 32 steel. maybe 2 synth oil plants or some tungston. I will let you think about it but alittle resources isnt broken.

@Jedi Luigi: I love the changes. :) I am LOVING this mod more and more. No Joke, I don't play without it anymore. It was like Second Christmas playing Romania and seeing the new options! Thanks a lot, really.

If I was forced to give a suggestion as to how it could be better, I could only suggest one thing: Command Staff National Spirits.

Seriously, I've found it to be challenging (read: things SUCK) when a minor nation doesn't have good command staff choices. Rather than code generals for everyone, just have a national doctrine. Like, having a France-esque Focus tree choice of "Defensive National Spirit: +5% to Army Defense" vs. "Aggressive National Spirit: +5% to Army Offensive" vs. "Mobility National Spirit: +5% to Army Division Speed" as mutually exclusive end choices.

Based on some feedback, changed the Home Construction Focus to give a new national spirit, New Housing Initiative, a 1% Conscription Law. I'm not sure on how balanced this law is, may nerf it to 0.5%

Kept the spirit of Housing Initiative by adding a World Tension locked Refugee Settlement Focus.

You do realise that even for minor nations, a straight 50,000 manpower is like a fart in a hurricane, right? It's barely noticable. That's MAYBE 5 divisions, if you're handycapping your divisions by keeping them under 10,000 a piece. Your Home Construction focus would be a lot more useful if it was a percentage recruitable pop, like the Fascist ones.

With that out of my system, I DO like the extra factories from the Industry branch, as well as the choice of Infantry weapons or Motorised cost reduction. Have you ever considered doing country specific focus trees?

@matix, thanks for using my mod.

On the topic of adding cores that usually requires a nations own focus tree for specific State and Province ID numbers.

Non-core manpower is, however, a problem I think I can fix. There's a specific modifier somewhere I believe I can edit or add to help, but if I did that in addition or to replace the Home Construction Effort I'm not sure.

@Knightbruder I don't speak or write Russian at all, but if you do or know someone willing to help I'd gladly it.

Love the mod! It literally has made playing "minor" countries much more enjoyable.

The only suggestion I could offer is something I don't even know is possible, and that's regarding recruitment. You already have housing and that +50K is NICE (saved my bacon friom frying more than once!). But in vanilla some countries can make other territories core states. I don't know if that's possible to mod without making a custom tree for every country.

So, I'm wondering if it would it be possible to make a national spirit that increased the contribution from non-core states? This would simulate like how Germany added "ethnic" Germans to increase it's rolls, Canada added the Quebecois (a feat with English speaking officers), America increased enlistment from territories like the Navajo code-talkers, etc.
