Unfortunately, there isn't enough information about the galaxy generation.

Hey people, "Please update" is one of the reasons I got out of mod making, two days after a game update "Please update", it's fucking rude and entitled, this shit is fucking free you have NO right to ask for updates, fuck off. :)

There is no balance between Jump Drive and Warp Drive, like there is no balance between a train and a carriage, because a train is just better than carriage.

I like the concept very much, but I feel like the tech change should get its own lategame FTL drive, requiring you to research it extra. I know, that probably is currently impossible, as you would have otherwise probably added it as extra drive tech. It would be a nice request aswell to paradox, to make such maps more possible. Good work in making it working as good as you can!

@TheCatWithTheHat, I used the generate from image option in the Galaxy Generator made by Retalyx, to create a map from an image I had made, then edited and did some touch ups, placed down spawn points, generated hyperlanes etc.

@Bees, the general idea for the drive having a wait isn't meant to be something that you'll be encountering for all of time. It's something that can be superseded by establishing a colony in the other galaxy, and just creating fleets in that galaxy instead of traveling back and forth.

The idea is to make it very expensive and difficult for an invading force to keep invading, until they have established a proper foothold in the other galaxy.

Very cool! Glad to see such a mod that makes the game far more interesting. Personally I like spiral galaxy types, would that be possible to do in the future? Even better, if you could tell me how to make such maps for stellaris I would be grateful.

An entire invasion could take place over the span of two years, if the forces are closely matched. Having someone wait six months for one is like, on a waterslide where you must have a ticket to ride it, getting a ticket for every 30 seconds you're in the park.

I have a problem, I was playing and this custom empire on the otherside of the galaxy was claming all the stars without and outpost, colonys etc. It only had two colonys please help lol

@nazi super weapon, no there are no hyperlanes between galaxies and no special wormhole generators.

@Bees, in V3 I will be including an FTL system that is independent from the normal FTL systems including Jump Drive. It will consume resources upon each jump (Dark Matter/Dark Energy) and will have a high wind up to simulate the vast distance being traveled. I will also include a Dark Matter/Dark Energy factory that will be part of the research chain required to unlock the Inter-galactic Warp Drive. It will produce 2 resources per year, enabling the trip twice a year. So if your first invasion plan fails, you're going to have to wait or stockpile your Dark Matter.

I'm going to put any future modding on hold until Heinlein comes out though. No idea what stuff it might change/add that would conflict with any of my mods, and don't want to go updating only to have to rework my updates days after lol.

@Sarus, this map is below 1000 stars (877 stars). I will be incorporating lower star counts in my V2 as well after Heinlein comes out. I would suggest downloading my V2 anyways, so that when you play on this map, all of the stars have names (this map wasn't shipped with a complete star name for some reason). As it also says on V2, I recommend downloading had's Insane Maps https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=681933510&searchtext=insane+maps if you want to enable Fallen Empires in my maps.

Kind of a cool idea but the fact that you had to break Jump Drives to be only for galaxy-crossing is kinda shitty. Maybe Just add a new FTL that only allows cross-galaxy travel. Maybe something like how SoSE does between stars.

Are their hyperlanes between the galaxies? And are there special wormhole generators that are a great deal more expensive to build which can reach other galaxies? (if neither are true, perhaps try to implement that)
