WHERE IS THE HAT
RustedCutlass717 20 Jan, 2018 @ 4:00pm
Look almost like the hat I wear IRL... except mine has feathers in a small plume instead of coin studs.

I agree with zavierpepe14, as well as the duster's location

Tibbs versus Japan 18 Jun, 2015 @ 11:26am
What is the .esp file for this? I'm tinkering with armor placement right now.

Hi, I know it's been a while since the last post but I was just wondering if there is a way for you (Not me, I cant mod sh*t) to "tilt" the hat a bit downwards?
Guild of Rogue Force Users 7 Jan, 2015 @ 12:41pm
Giv ethe mod to a more experienced modder or ask for help from one and maybe add some other western styled clothing/ armour maybe even some weapons; please take my advice thanks
Aclion 23 Dec, 2014 @ 4:17pm
Please keep the duster! I found another outfit from an assassin's creed mod that fits perfectly
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 23 Dec, 2014 @ 7:35am
And to you.
TheRenagadegamer 22 Dec, 2014 @ 11:46pm
cool thanks that all i really wanted anyway. and Merry Christmas to ya
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 22 Dec, 2014 @ 11:39pm
Yeah. The hat would stay. Otherwise, I'd be taking down the whole mod.
TheRenagadegamer 22 Dec, 2014 @ 11:07pm
still able to keep the hat right
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 22 Dec, 2014 @ 10:45pm
Yeah...I'm contemplating removing it. I haven't touched it in so long.
TheRenagadegamer 22 Dec, 2014 @ 10:23pm
the duster is still bugged
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 10 Dec, 2014 @ 9:43pm
You'll have to extract the mod's bsa, modify the duster's body group, and make the same edits to the esp.
Aclion 10 Dec, 2014 @ 9:10pm
Is there a way I can do that?
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 10 Dec, 2014 @ 9:04pm
There's nothing underneath. Not even a body. I set the duster to take up all the slots so all you'd see is shadow.
Aclion 10 Dec, 2014 @ 8:09pm
Does anyone know what he uses in the last screenshot that doesn't clip with the duster? (What he wears under it.)
Aclion 2 Dec, 2014 @ 7:49pm
Does the duster work now? I'm really happy you made this so I can make Alchestbreach in Skyrim.
TheRenagadegamer 23 Nov, 2014 @ 11:39am
great mode, hat looks great, duster is a bit buged but thats ok just wanted the hat anyway
shadowbeast316 27 Sep, 2014 @ 7:50pm
I need a mod for Roleplay reasons that adds a Dark Blue hat like this, making it look like the Runescape Default Duelest Cap
The Dark Gremlin ♣™ 23 Aug, 2014 @ 5:24pm
i need more hat mods i will be adding this to the many more to come.
NoldoCelu 27 Jun, 2014 @ 3:50pm
I am a fan of hats and really love this one, haven't been able to find anything to wear with the duster yet though, maybe make it like clothing instead of an accessory?
Fr Clint Power 27 Jun, 2014 @ 5:11am
i noticed u can wear a item of clothing for torso from radient raaiment under the duster but bits of the clothing clip tru the duster could u fix dat pls
ying_ko13 24 May, 2014 @ 1:52pm
The style is called a broad brim slouch hat, favored by many in the late 1800s, and by The Shadow in the 30s and 40s. I have one as well.
omoonie18 14 May, 2014 @ 9:22pm
it looks like the undertakers hat from wm30
Jamma77 10 May, 2014 @ 1:38am
Ok. Any idea when you'll be able to update this?
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 10 May, 2014 @ 1:18am
I've seen some cloth physics in Skyrim, but they seem to be restricted to skirts/capes (based on official DLC content). The effect looks like it is tied to bones and that won't cut it for form-fitting (Especially for ridiculously big armor; the stretching would be atrocious).

I think I'd have to make it so you can't wear armor (take up all slots) to keep it from clipping. I haven't looked much into it, but I don't believe Skyrim would support any system like that (cloth meshes that deform and stretch according to what's beneath them). I've only seen that when messing around in UDK.
Jamma77 9 May, 2014 @ 1:32pm
Will the duster be fixed so it doesn't clip with armour when you eventually update the mod?
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 4 May, 2014 @ 1:02pm
Jamma, Indeed.

Cat, I explained why I'm not going to change the type in my replies to you. If you wish to have a custom fit tailored specifically to you, you will need to make some modifications yourself. I am reluctant to make your specific change and push it to all other subscribers as they probably won't need/want it. Also, I'm confident you have a hairstyle that'll accomodate the hat.
Cat Daddy 4 May, 2014 @ 6:48am
thats my point exactly. It wouldnt take you more than an hour to change this into a circlet item so hairs dont vanish
Jamma77 4 May, 2014 @ 1:57am
You've been unable to set aside enough time since 15 Sep, 2012? You must be a very busy person.
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 3 May, 2014 @ 11:04pm
When the duster is fixed or removed, it'll be out of beta. I just need to set aside time to focus on this mod, if I can. :(
Jamma77 3 May, 2014 @ 10:58pm
This mod is still in beta, yet you haven't updated it for 2 years? Is it ever going to come out of beta?
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 1 May, 2014 @ 8:34am
Cat, if I raise it further above the head, it won't rest on anything but the biggest hair styles (it'll float in the air for the rest). So, you may find a few styles that look right with a high offset, but what about everyone else? I'm pretty sure there are a significant number of styles that you don't use due to clipping headgear anyways. Skyrim doesn't do hat hair (not sure if a mod is out there for dynamically reshaping hair meshes to fit within headgear).

If I downloaded all "900+ hair mods" you have installed and reshaped the hat to fit around all of them, I'd get a hat for big-head-mode and not one like the hat I own.

I'm sorry, but you're going to have to find a hair style that works with this hat if you want that look. Alternatively, you can adjust the offset and slot type to account for the hair style(s) you desire. That way, you get a custom fit. Just open up the Creation Kit to fiddle with the ESP and extract the BSA to make the corresponding changes to the hat's NIF.
Cat Daddy 1 May, 2014 @ 5:18am
thats why you use CK to raise its level so its not so far down. Your also forgetting some of us have 900+ hair mods installed. im sure from that 900 we could find hair that DONT clip. Im just after a cowgirl style looking hat that doesnt make my female character look blad
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 30 Apr, 2014 @ 11:24pm
If I put it back to that class, hair would clip through it (pony tails sticking up and out, bangs shooting through the brim, etc). Not all hair styles have multiple parts that can be hidden. I don't like it, but the current setting was the best I could come up with. Sorry.
Cat Daddy 30 Apr, 2014 @ 3:33pm
cant you change this to a circlet item rather than a hood item? that way the characters hair doesnt vanish when wearing it
Unholy Makerel 22 Apr, 2014 @ 6:39pm
thanks
Rand0mNumbers  [author] 14 Apr, 2014 @ 4:13pm
There is a male version.
