Great

None of my combination switches puzzles are more than 5 buttons. I know those are tedious and frustrating and should never be used in a map, unless with clues.

Nice. Thanks. I was under the assumption that they weren't independent and I had to figure out a random 8 switch combination, which would be pretty daunting.

Each side of the engine room has two combination switches sets which are independent from each other.

Facing opposite the main door which leads to the room, the right combination set (with the freezer weapon in a corner of the lower platform) is 2 and 4 on. The opposite side combination set is 1 and 4 on.

When you set the correct switches on each side, a small door next to each viewscreen will open revealing a button. Push those and watch the screen to reveal which door you must head next to.

How do you figure out the button sequence in the room with the spinning cylinders?
