Thanks for the info on the real place, though. I always like to know these things, and it's such a special historic place - I loved it so much. Got an extra room? :D

Hi. Yes, I've been there and it's quite lovely. This map is from 2016 before I learned how to use real life overlays (it is not possible to import map data other than a heightmap image, which is what this map was made from). Obviously there is no train service at all there, and there isn't a divided highway, even, but in order to actually play this game with all of the statistics and traffic flow enough to balance your game play, you're going to need things like a rail connection and a large separated highway.
Any real map that I now produce always states what is not there in real life but has been added for game play purposes. I really don't have time to go back and add in caveats into all the old maps. I do this for fun, so... But anyway, I would always search in the workshop for maps made within the past year or so. We've gotten so many new mods that allow us map makers to do all kinds of things better than before. This map is definitely before all that.

Hey so I actually live in Provincetown, and I love your map, but the rail line and ocean side (east) highway are not realistic. we have one highway on the bay side called rt 6 and a sub highway called 6A that becomes the 2 main roads of the town: Bradford Street and Commercial Street. Most of the land on the ocean side and north side is national park land and can not be developed. There are also many small ponds scattered around the land mass that retain water year round, not just the one large one (Pilgrim Lake). The harbor area in the north side is called Hatch's Harbor, and it floods at high tide and empties at low tide. this entire area is comprised of sand dunes. It is not realistic to have it flooded all the time and that's also where the munic. airport is. I realize there are limits to what the game can import from map data but this should be mentioned for anyone looking for realism.

Just so you know, your textures will have to be .png format, and should be a standard unity pixel size like 512x512 (that's really small and lower quality), 1024x1024, 2048x2048.

Thanks guys. Hi @lorenenick! I left you a message about the Thai coast location, and I also found one more. It's the wrong coast of Thailand, but maybe you might want to see it https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=714888589
I get my textures from many different locations (I'll share a few links). So they're not as good as people who can make them from scratch. I think maybe the key is being very, very picky about colors. Although I might use some of the same textures across themes, they almost never have the same saturation / hue / brightness, etc. If there's a particular texture you like, I'll be glad to share it with you :) http://seamless-pixels.blogspot.de/ http://texturelib.com/ http://opengameart.org/art-search-advanced?field_art_tags_tid=seamless

Mr. Miyagi, where do you get your map theme textures? Just asking because your themes are beautiful.
