Hey Boss, the compact quetzel has been great. You might want to explain in the description that it has full size stats. And that it's small enough for a wood dino gateway.

@steve pushed another update, was able to walk through a wooden gate with the door any everything. Should be good now

Yeah it doesnt replace the quetzal, only adds an extra dino you can tame. So you would have to find it flying around. I will try some more fixes later. I am fairly new with the dev kit so I am learning as I go lol

OK alot of posts from me today. I spawned one- it's extremely awesome except it only fits through a stone gate with no door. It would be great if you made one that fits through the wood dino gateway - when it has a gate on it :)

I'm using annunaki and the regular and champion quetzels I've tamed are still large so maybe it is separated if that mod replaces the vanilla quetzel. I dunno but I'm going to destroy wild dinos and see what spawns.

I think Annunaki replaces the quetzel so it wasn't working for me. But I just uploaded your update and will try the spawn code if I don't see any. Thanks for the update

And yes more than likely, this shares the same spawn as the regular quetzal so it wont appear in scorched without a command or that mod.

also, i'm playing scorched earth. do i need the add quetzal spawns mod for this guy to appear?

Scaled the quetz down a little more, put a platform saddle on him and was able to walk through a regular stone gateway. Cooking the mod now, let me know if it works for you

And it also doesn't replace the regular quetzal to my knowledge, it just shares the spawning zones so you should be able to naturally find both.

@steve I am not 100% sure what makes it clip through doors, it may be the capsule size of the dino blueprint, so I will change that and see if it helps at all

LOL-the difference is so slight I keep debating whether it's working. I think it is...

I tested it and visibility & maneuverability seem better. The 3rd person view while flying seems a little far and might need to scale with it. But that's minor.

And there is a larger problem- @ 20% reduction it still can't get through a dino gate, so it still needs a behemoth gate to protect it.

I'm not sure what the game's limits are but I would suggest shrinking it to whatever let's it thru a dino gate wearing a platform saddle. If there's a problem with it being that small (like making platform bases) maybe it can be added as a second type rather than a replacement?

FYI my champion annunaki genesis quetzel is smaller too. I was wondering if it would affect a mod version as well. Thanks for your work. It's better now even as it stands.

Yeah this quetz uses the regular quetz saddle so I imagine that they are compatible :)
