@Alpharius:
This means you can use Long War Perk Pack without having to use Long War Toolbox.
Zacharius Sneed 4 May, 2018 @ 5:00pm
What exactly does this do?
Dragon32 20 Nov, 2017 @ 12:10pm
@King Rollo:
Use "Unlimited Ability Icons" and "New Promotion Screen by Default [WOTC]" to get this functionality. Add "View Locked Skills - Wotc" if you want the XCOM Abilities to remain hidden.

@King Rollo
Currently, there are no mods that use the LW mod options for WotC.
Charnoculus Prime 19 Nov, 2017 @ 2:22pm
Any plans to get this working in WotC?

Would install.
macelharen 25 Sep, 2017 @ 8:57am
the title should honestly be renamed "LWPP" instead of "LW" (the misworded title AND picture misleads people into believing this gives more second wave options like red fog, etc)...we're not all technically literate enough to understand your first sentence in your description.

=P
macelharen 12 Aug, 2017 @ 7:15pm
hmmm...very interesting.
LoneDigger 3 Aug, 2017 @ 5:11pm
Did something happen to break this? The menu won't show up for me either.
Nitpik 30 Jul, 2017 @ 8:18am
I also can get the menus to show up either, I tried both with and without using the mod config menu mod to no avail :(
Dragon32 17 Apr, 2017 @ 5:37am
Cracking mod, allows me to play a LW Perk Pack-based campaign without having to use LW Toolbox and losing some other mods I depend on.
Doc_Calm 11 Jan, 2017 @ 11:37am
Same as Traveler. It's not working for me.
BUT, I found using the Alt Mod Launcher (from the Xcom2 mods Reddit) & using it to change the order in which conflicting mods launch, allowed me to use the standard LWToolbox with 2 conflicting mods & have all 3 play nice.
Traveler 4 Jan, 2017 @ 12:37am
I tried using this and did not get the menu as shown in the picture.
LightenedDark 31 Dec, 2016 @ 10:14pm
So if a player doesn't use any longwar mods, does your menu still allow "viewing locked perks"? If so, does your mod only allow the three options mentioned in the picture?
aZmoDen 31 Dec, 2016 @ 5:01pm
yeah i run a starting squad of 6, however sq_paradox's mod lets you have up to 12 soldiers, and ive never had that many :) (i run 300% enemy soldiers to compensate)
=[NK]= Col. Jack O'Neil 31 Dec, 2016 @ 6:29am
Can also change the squad size in its ini :)
=[NK]= Col. Jack O'Neil 31 Dec, 2016 @ 6:29am
Mate use this mod for larger starting size, no need for toolbox as it isn't compatible with heaps of stuff.. I run almost 500 mod (lot of cosmetic)

aZmoDen 31 Dec, 2016 @ 3:44am
righto i think im speaking your language now :)
just do double down .. cause im drunk and its NYE here (1h45m to go)
for squad size to work, id need the original LWTB mod, because all this mod does is enable LWPP to be used without LWTB.
right?

thanks for your patience btw :)
robojumper  [author] 31 Dec, 2016 @ 2:05am
@aZmoDen
I said it does nothing to increase squad size :)
That's a different feature of LW Toolbox, so you'd need LW Toolbox for that.
aZmoDen 31 Dec, 2016 @ 1:50am
@ robojumper Yeah i saw that in yoru mod description, however there is a mod made by sq_paradox called 'squad size upgrades for LW toolbox'.
It requires LW toolbox to be installed.
My querey is can i replace LW toolbox with your version, and run the squad size upgrade mod?

Im guessing ill need the original LW toolbox to use the squad size upgrade mod, however i thought id ask both mod creators, see what they say.
robojumper  [author] 31 Dec, 2016 @ 1:15am
@aZmoDen
This mod does nothing to increase the squad size.
The main purpose is allowing users to configure LwPP without Toolbox.
aZmoDen 30 Dec, 2016 @ 5:45pm
I also got a response when i asked him:
sq_paradox [author] 1 hour ago
@aZmoDen I can look into that but it's probably a question better asked of robojumpr. It depends on if/how the mod impliments larger squads.

aZmoDen 30 Dec, 2016 @ 5:45pm
@ robojumper Hello, Firstly thank you for your mod!
Secondly, a quick question, can i utilise 'Squad Size UPgrades for LW Toolbox (by sq_paradox) with this mod?
I ask because his mod states you need LW toolbox and i wanted to use yours (less fluf i have to edit out)

Thanks for your time!
robojumper  [author] 10 Nov, 2016 @ 2:54pm
Updated for the latest patch.
robojumper  [author] 8 Nov, 2016 @ 11:46am
Heads up - this crashes the game. Update soon.
Insufferable Smartypants 24 Oct, 2016 @ 8:11pm
Nice addition, Robojumper! Thanks!
=[NK]= Col. Jack O'Neil 18 Oct, 2016 @ 8:05pm
And I've never had LW toolbox
=[NK]= Col. Jack O'Neil 18 Oct, 2016 @ 8:04pm
It doesn't show up on my menu for some reason :(
LewdValkyria.exe 18 Oct, 2016 @ 7:05am
@robojumper: Yeah , it did
I got it working though by cleaning my ini files !
Thanks for the fast answer though
Have a nice one
robojumper  [author] 18 Oct, 2016 @ 7:02am
@LewdValkyria.exe
This mod does not require a new campaign. It may be that removing LWT makes the game crash.
LewdValkyria.exe 18 Oct, 2016 @ 6:58am
Hey there, I'm a having a problem:
I can't use this mod when unstall LW ToolBoxand use this mod since my game crashes after loading my save.
Does this mod require a new campaign?
kenanthebarbarian 16 Oct, 2016 @ 4:47pm
Works like a charm! Thanks, robo!
Ser Lancelot 16 Oct, 2016 @ 7:37am
Which means I don't need this; thanks, though!
robojumper  [author] 16 Oct, 2016 @ 7:00am
@Ser Lancelot
LWT has a component that allows mods to offer configurable options.
LWT itself offers some options by itself, LWPP also adds a new tab to configure options. This tab would only appear with LWT. I extracted the Mod Option Component from LWT to allow people to configure LWPP / other mods without LWT.
Ser Lancelot 16 Oct, 2016 @ 6:46am
Gotcha; does this included everything that the Toolbox had, namely the in-game changes for squad size, Red Fog, NCE, and so on?
robojumper  [author] 16 Oct, 2016 @ 6:23am
@Ser Lancelot
There is no reason to use this with LW Toolbox, and it doesn't have a conflict with LWPP.
Ser Lancelot 16 Oct, 2016 @ 6:17am
So the Alternate Mod Launcher says that this mod has a conflict with the LW Toolbox AND the LW Perk Pack.

Normal?
robojumper  [author] 16 Oct, 2016 @ 12:47am
@Varkact
If don't use LWPP, there isn't a reason to use this mod
TVictorian 15 Oct, 2016 @ 6:22pm
Does this require LW Perk Pack to be installed? I don't use it, and this isn't showing up in MCM.
robojumper  [author] 15 Oct, 2016 @ 2:50pm
@jcase259
Probably not.
jcase259 15 Oct, 2016 @ 2:36pm
Can this be used to get Chooseable AWC Perks to work with the LW Perk Pack?
Coyote 15 Oct, 2016 @ 9:18am
This is actually useful for me... Thanks.
