@battleship101 - This is something that could be added at a later date if the developers dont realease a DLC that does this for Mexico
Not yet, but I am working on it. It will take me a little bit of time, but I will make sure that it works well upon release.
I was not aware of Trotsky's years in Mexico. If I can get ahold of a nice caricaturesque portrait for him, I can definitely incorporate him into the game. I am thinking that if you choose "Go Left" on the focus tree then you get an event where you can invite Trotsky to Mexico (if he hasn't been assassinated) and have him become at least an advisor, but even possibly become leader.
I can get a modifier that puts Mexico at odds with the comintern to keep this realistic. And then you can pull Latin America into communism under your faction or something.. I like it!
Thanks for the suggestion!
As requested I made a factory boost accessible earlier in the Industry Fous Tree, along with a few other minor changes.
If any errors come up please ley me know. I will gladly take care of them ASAP.
...and YES! I will be updating this mod very soon!!
Yeah, I figure the national focus tree needs some balancing. I'm working on having faster access to industry since its pretty important for any playthrough. The reason that I didn't do that at the begining was because it would allow you to steamroll the U.S. which would not be very realistic.
But I will figure something... And yes!! another research slot!!
Tambien estoy trabajando en una traducion al español para este mod.
Thanks for the feedback guys. If I haven't updated recently is because school got busy. But I will definately work on balancing and expanding this as soon as I can
Please provide me with feedback on the focus tree in order to improve it even more! Some concepts and focuses were borrowed from the generic tree in order to keep Mexico a flexible nation and let you guys pick the direction in which you take the country. Most of it, however, its completely unique and as historical as possible.
Running latest patch available.
I wrote the comment before i played with the mod, and I really like it!
When you have some more work done it will be a superb mod. But Cuba and all of Central America (-Panama), was mexican at one point in the 19th century
Im currently working on a unique focus tree for Mexico. Its about halfway done.I still have to do the "political" branch of the focus tree. I plan on including a focus or two that allow you to make claims on caribean and central/south america.
Also, I will look into the columbian mod to see if both mods can be made to be fully compatible.
@Uncle Bernie
In the current version of the mod. The branch extension of the generic tree has a focus "Reconquista" that makes claims on ex-Mexican territory that was lost to the US in the Mexican-American war. That focus will also be on the unique Mexico Focus tree!
The rest of the 'murrican states, you need to conquer.
And nice mod!
