I didn't saw Kamikaze-class in your list thou
Use the SFM compiler if you don't yet, it can compile extremely large and complex models.
Make the models non-ragdolls, the turrets would be moved with bone editing tools, and this way you can have ships players can actually walk on, since static and dynamic models can have up to 40 convex physics parts.
Add details as bonemergeable bodygroups.
I have made several experiments in making world of tanks/planes/ships textures look good on source, and I can share what I found if you so desire.
