So just to clarify, this does not currently work with all DLC, and the chances of it being updated are very slim?

I wish there was a better way to write this mod. It literally changes a single line but I don't know how to only update that one value so it doesn't break with every update. I no longer play this game so it's difficult to update as I don't own the DLC.

@CapitaineYolo Yes! If you look in the screenshot, the weird pyramid structure is the tier 3 district. It normally doesn't appear in the base game.

I updated this mod and tested it. Only CityClass is overwritten, so hopefully it will be less likely to break in future updates!

This mod is now broken for every race and set-up. Regardless of the approval rating for the individual cities the Empire approval rating will always be "Rebellion - 0%" and this will send dust collection into deeply negative figures. A new game without validating this mod fixes the problem. I am still subscribed because this was a great mod and I am hoping it will be fixed at some point.

They said Symbiosis is the last expansion. Any chance of getting a last update to the mod to fix the Mykara issue?

Sadly the modding API was not well documented. I would like to simply change a single value, but from what I can tell the entire xml class has to be defined or it's assumed the rest of the class is null. Which means if more gets added (like an expansion) then the mods needs to be updated. It's a lot of work to literally change 1 number in the whole file.

So this mod still works for me, but I discovered a bug where if you use it and play Mykara, your fungal blooms will not cost your city food production, like they are supposed to. So you can essentially create infinite free fungal blooms, which is...pretty game-breaking

i think i found my issue i think its caused by auriga expanded due to it having a custom faction trait that does the same thing

@Wolf District level is actually 1+ MaximumDistrictLevel. The values are 0 indexed, so "0" is a level 1 district and 2 is a level 3 district.

Hi, I am trying to figure out how to mod this myself and cannot find anything that seems relevant in the SimulationDescriptors[Class] file as the max base district level is still 2. Can't find anything else to do with Districts or the number 3 or 4 that seems like the relevant value. Can you help?

Late to the party but for those who care, this seems to break the skyfin's ability to be a extractor. the animation plays (sucks up the ground) and the city gets the happiness, but the resorce itself is not added-

@Seven Flames: Yes. In the screenshot provided here, the green pyramid only appears in level 3 districts. I don't think the Cultists have anything for level 4 districts though.

@Mr Squeak: 1100 subscribers and only 2 people report the movement bug.

Considering this makes such a minor edit to the base game, they likely ran into a bug with the vanilla game, not from this mod.

I had that movement bug as well, when my city was getting besieged. But not sure it's got anything to do with this mod. It went away after couple of rounds so not sure how the bug begins or ends.

There's a bug regarding movement. It will put it to zero and you won't be able to move to any hex spot.
