Mod doesn't work perfectly. Even when I avoid the red tiles completely, the enemy spots me.
rkraiem100 4 Sep, 2017 @ 4:04pm
wotc support?

This is absolutely the most wonderful mod ever made

Thank you :csdsmile:
Lux Manifestus 14 Jul, 2017 @ 9:14am
Yes, as indicated by an orange triangle.
pintocat 14 Jul, 2017 @ 9:05am
Sorry if this is stupid, but is this functionality included in Gotcha Again?

What is it doing I don't see the effect:steamhappy:

If you have vision of the units, the aim indicator seems to be pretty reliable to telling whether or not they'll activate - if you're hovering over a tile and it shows you'd have a shot, that generally means they'll also be able to see you.

This mod doesn't work as intended. In my campaigns (L/I), the pods activate always 1-2 fields earlier than indicated

While this is very awesome and makes it easier to know if I'm about to be revealed it doesn't show all the tiles where you can get spotted. It seems that it is usually behind cover that the mod fails to show you a warning at the edge of their range?
thunderbeast 13 Nov, 2016 @ 4:33pm
This mod doesn't work on Controller UI. :(
Teddy 25 Oct, 2016 @ 6:04pm
I'm having the same issue as Ed583 - the very first tile that activates a pod isn't registering. Lead to a few very hectic activations, let me tell you.
Dragon32 24 Oct, 2016 @ 10:19am
@Artuurs.
Oh good you're chipping in with another one of your "This, completely optional, mod makes the game too easy" comments. Have you actually played the game yet as you don't seem to own it on Steam..?
Artuurs 24 Oct, 2016 @ 10:15am
This is not realistic. Isn't it bad enough that their blind as bats?
Ed583 24 Oct, 2016 @ 5:32am
I've noticed several instances in which the mark won't appear on the first tile that an enemy has LOS to, but will appear on the next closer one. My soldier steps on that first and unmarked tile and the pod is activated.
d_valroth 23 Oct, 2016 @ 1:58pm
Nice. Nothing worse than an activation that the game told you wouldn't happen.
Belhedler 23 Oct, 2016 @ 1:55pm
Does the mod fixes LOS issues, issue should it be? I had a few instances when I was spotted during my turn despite not passing through a danger tile and it kind of runed my ambush (well just an attempt at this point)
warp.ligia.obscura 20 Oct, 2016 @ 10:10am
Neat, good to know.
Mr. Galaxywide 20 Oct, 2016 @ 5:06am
Just noticed 2 other guys already asked for it. Sorry for spam.:rainbowfart:

Another awesome mod robo, great thx. Can I do a request for simmilar stuff? I really would like to have indicator like this to let me know if move gonna trigger enemy overwatch. Im constantly beeing dumb shit and forgetting about that one ayy that sitting with overwatch somewhere on edge of visibility. It shouldnt however work when none of my soldiers see overwatching enemy.
Lux Manifestus 19 Oct, 2016 @ 2:39pm
@Anomaly of Awesome, Yes, you're right, the functionality already exists in the game but as @Inventor Raccoon says, it's too inconvenient to check each tile along the movement path to see if the enemy has LOS on you. Since this mod tracks the status of each tile traveled along a path of movement then reports if a certain status exists somewhere along the path (i.e. setting off an overwatch or being spotted by the enemy), I was hoping that the author would be able to add the functionality or make a new mod which reports ovewrwatch triggers along a designated path. Since the LOS vision indicators are functional in the game, I'd imagine that it would not be impossible to do; I just have no modding skills whatsoever and am making a request. The function I'm requesting is also very similiar to the central function of this mod. Thanks!

@marstabalot
My intention is to make available information accessible easier, not add entirely new information. I might add that as an option, but don't count on it.
Kaldin 19 Oct, 2016 @ 11:20am
Nice, thank you for making another awesome mod, robojumper.
mrstabalot 19 Oct, 2016 @ 10:57am
Do you know if this could be altered to display if you will activate any pod not just ones that you have vision on. That could prevent activating another pod by acident and getting flanked and killed.
robojumper  [author] 19 Oct, 2016 @ 10:34am
@warp.ligia.obscura
Can be disabled and enabled at any time.
Inventor Raccoon 19 Oct, 2016 @ 8:18am
Anomaly, yes, mostly, but often if a unit enters the very edge of LOS, they don't trigger overwatch from the unit who they just entered the sight of. And besides, it's a lot more inconvenient to mouse over every tile rather than just see whether or not you'll be spotted.
warp.ligia.obscura 19 Oct, 2016 @ 7:42am
Is this safe to activate on an existing campaign or should one wait to start a new campaign first?
Zigg Price 18 Oct, 2016 @ 6:06pm
Nous, that functionality is already in the base game. If you pass through a tile that the enemy has LoS to (IE, gets the little red reticle next to their health bar) then you will trigger their overwatch.
Lux Manifestus 18 Oct, 2016 @ 5:20pm
This is awesome. Can you make a mod that indicates when you will set off overwatch? Thanks you.
robojumper  [author] 18 Oct, 2016 @ 3:11pm
@Smarmbot
Probably somehow possible, but I don't know how much time I will have for modding from now on.
Pencey 18 Oct, 2016 @ 3:10pm
Amazing. Been hoping someone would take this on. Do you think it would be possible to do the same thing but showing where you would take overwatch fire?
Vortex ♀ Pixalation 18 Oct, 2016 @ 1:30pm
:D
Dragon32 18 Oct, 2016 @ 1:13pm
Bloody hell, robojumper. I didn't think would be possible at all .
