"Go to Source Filmmaker download page on Steam and press the install button. If the error appears, close the error. Then, go and press the download button again. This time, go to your library and it should say that Source Filmmaker is downloading, right click it and then click delete local game content. If the error still persists, do the whole thing all over and over again...

If this doesn't works, just spam the install button, hopefully it works...."

oh ye, sure. right click on posed model ->export->animation, then save in usermod/elements directory; then go to sfm's top bar - File->Community->Publish to steam workshop->animations and finally select your pose:bananas:

Hi! Me, being fond of SFM and wanting to share my creations with everyone, was wondering how to upload poses to the steam workshop. Obviously you can do it, so if you have any tips please let me know!

Ya know, some people can't do fluid poses such as this but still want to get into SFM. There are beginners joining the community every day-- Has Surfer thought about how some might be able to learn from this by importing the pose and then trying to copy it: in turn teaching them about how little subtle moves can enhance a pose?

While yes, " Those who regulars the workshop will find this useless", there are many that will find it useful. Please do not think of all the SFM users who actually know how to pose as the majority of the community. You don't just master how to solve a Rubik's Cube the first couple of posters, you don't just learn how to be pro in TF2 within 3 games... you won't learn how to pose right away in SFM.

Surfer, you need to relax.

Nice pose, kiddy. :)
maroo  [author] 23 Oct, 2016 @ 2:56am
Hey, relax
surfer171 23 Oct, 2016 @ 2:14am
If you've got a pack to be made but unable to get it done for publishing, turn this into private mode and finish it up. Those who regulars the workshop will find this useless as we SFM user can easily make a model to sit down and strike that thinker like pose.
maroo  [author] 23 Oct, 2016 @ 1:46am
Pretty good remark, yes

I have some unfinished, and quite interesting animations / packs, full of action poses for tf classes, but don't have time to finish it yet. And the motive is only to see whether a similar need at least someone.
surfer171 22 Oct, 2016 @ 3:45pm
It questions me or your motives to do this. Easiest pose like these don't deserve to shine as a workshop item. Majority can do it
