The files are all included, but the metadata is essentially blank, unless you use the utility mentioned. Since my mod presumes that ALL vehicles being loaded have metadata (which they usually would) it causes the issue you are seeing and causes it to be incompatible.
I guess the option you have is not use mine, not use the trams, or use the extra utility to enable the trains from that other mod, in which case it both should then work as expected.
I'm not sure why the author of the trams didn't do it as two mods, or have trains enabled by default, but its the first time I have seen something done this way, so far at least.

Unfortunately, my only suggestion would be to either stop using this or figure out which mod its conflicting with and I can try and take a look, time permitting, but I can't promise anything at the moment.
