The original mod was added back, I may update this mod eventually, but I've gotten extremely busy with life and my server and haven't been able to properly edit these weapons.
I am also working on a standalone weapons mod that will be based off of darkstar's weapon core mod so it is more optimized.

Not rebalanced for a shield, I have our server mod updated for shield damages but this mod is not, it was balanced alongside the battlecannons mod to make the damages 'similar' but not too crazy. just to allow variety.

Original OKI Weapons mod is now back online, fixed, rewamped, remodelled and rebalanced:

The Oki 23mm Fixed gun has no entry in the weapons and tools menu in the G menu and thus cannot be selected as the primary weapon

According to my players on my server this happens, and I have seen fixed weapons not working on other mods. I'm working with other mod authors to see what caused this and hopefully i'll be able to fix this soon.
Apologies for the slow updates, Currently without monitor or gpu so i'm working on an old laptop which needless to say can't run rendering programs very well.

Alright i've started seeing it myself, apparently I had an update missing. I'll look into it, though I may have to re-make the models if I can't get the source files from the original owner.

I have just loaded up a brand new Single Player world where this was the only mod active, with the same result. The turret weapons work fine, but I cannot fire any of the Fixed Mount wepaons. (230mm Fixed Battlecannon, 50mm Fixed Gun, and 122mm Fixed Gun). I have verified that I have the correct ammo loaded and available for each.

Seems like all of the fixed cannons cannot fire. I've test on both large grid and small grid, and in Survival as well as Creative. Everything else seems to be working alright.

Don't suppose there's a chance you can change the icon backgrounds to transparent? Impossible to see ammo counters with the white background.

122mm is the one that breaks alot. It's weird shape makes it hard to armor effectively without looking weird and it has such low health for it's size.

I would also note the small ship guns are surprisingly easy to damage. I lose guns almost instantly on being hit even if my light armor was barely damaged these guns seem to fail (even the casing surrounding the guns only had dents. It was disabled purely from shots to the barrel.)

I tested balance vs heavy armor, it's difficult to balance vs light armor because vanilla weapons chew through it like it's nothing... I'll try and work on this soon. apologies for the delay. I will note the 122mm

i subbed to both the original and this. the original practically made armor obsolete. i subbed this for my private server in a hope that it is much more fair which it seems much better. Though i would like to see slightly deeper pen from a 122mm.

This is not my 'original' mod. This is a re-balance of one that used to be on the workshop and i received permission from the creator to re-balance.
I'm about to release an update for this to rebalance a little more as well.

Still WIP for balance.

you should keep the original just for single player use (i used those guns on small attack craft because the custom world i spawned has all the resources scattered in specific places. Uranium can only be found on a planet with a acidic atmophere. This forced me to use spacecraft for my uranium needs til late game. I have enjoyed your mod in conjuction with the hostile universe modpack.)

As stated above i fight tough ships with the original varient. You should team up with a cargoship spawning mod and have them build some dreadnaught with you guns. This would potentially force teamwork on servers as your mod pack turns all ships into swiss cheese lol.

They are semi-balanced with vanilla, however since vanilla is so weak in comparison to some, they are more or less an extension of vanilla, nothing too powerful.

Small question: do you have a document with the exact stats somewhere? I'm a newish player, and I know nothing about the original mod whatsoever. But I'm looking for something vanilla compatible, and this looks to fit that bill... now if only I knew what these weapons actually do! :P

@qwertybattle This rebalance focuses on a balance between the OKI weapons,and vice-versa for the Battle Cannons and Turrets. This means they aren't crazily overpowered and both of the weapon packs have uses instead of just one weapon pack being useful because the other is weaker.
