Cat, 0.82 was just released. And Sleepy, as for that infection time bug, I just tested it myself just now and infection time still affects both zombies and the entity itself perfectly fine. It may be another addon affecting your version. Try playing around with infection times, like setting it to 0 and getting a zombie to infect you

understandable. one more thing. it seems the infection time needs some bug fixes. example:say i put the time to 100 seconds. getting infected from the jar itself works fine. but getting hit from a zombie takes like 10 seconds to die from infection. is this just me?

Yeah im a little iffy on infecting NPC's, since this addon is intended for rp with other players, if theres custom NPC's there would likley end up being issues with the infection and sudden serverwide death with clueless NPC's infecting one another since I cant manually add each and every single human NPC to the infection list, and having the addon decide what NPC's to infect based on spawn category or something would still be risky if custom NPC's are added to those categorys as well. Long story short, NPC's are less than likley goning to ever be infectable.

so far everything is almost perfect. i would just like NPCs (standard citizens) to be infected as well.

There is already an option to increase infection time & range using the console command scp_008_config, as stated in the mods description, as for the option to play as a zombie, that can only be done in a roleplay gamemode such as Clockwork or Darkrp. Since im trying to maximise compatibilty, this will likely never be added.

if you want a cure, go find scp-500 in the workshop, apprently consuming that will stop the infection, but not sure if ti will work after

And in terms of lore, SCP-008 can only be cured by SCP-500. I may add this SCP as well, but for now I do not plan on adding a cure

By entering scp_008_config into the console, a menu will appear allowing you to customise the addon, including infection time. Due to a minor issue the command will need so be entered twice initally, but only once the menu has appeared for the first time

The Addon is really good ( for such an early alpha ) But i have one question. Could you be able make the infection process slower like in the real game? Becouse i feel that the infection is just way to quick. Aswell as iff you could make a "cure" of some sort to the infection.

Good Addon but needs expansion maybe adding something that makes you immune to it or as said below a Hazmat suit anyways git gud
