I always had trouble with the stopping on this route when making these. hand brakes and Dynamic helped me.
robmerlo 10 Jun, 2023 @ 11:51pm
even with five hand brakes on the train continued to move back after coupling coupled at 2.2 mph
robmerlo 10 Jun, 2023 @ 9:53pm
will be doing this one again on last move the brakes were absolutely useless would hate to be relying on them in an emergency

Thanks, I do plan on return trips for both routes in the future. I'm trying to get some of the current series finished up before starting more.

Done with this too... these scenarios are flying as fast as they are coming.. :-) enjoying them RB!!.. i have already finished the career scenarios.. now onto a bit of difficult downward gradient near Griffith where have to be careful such that the containers dont tip over.. thanks for your work!!! i do wish for you to do scenarios the other way around.. these 2.2% gradient downward will be another challenge altogether..:steamhappy:

Another excellent scenario - very tricky coupling on the down grade! Everything worked perfectly.
RBJets  [author] 18 Sep, 2017 @ 4:13pm
Yes, that route can be tricky at times. Thanks and welcome. :)

Thanks again, RB, for a very enjoyable run, with a drop-off and re-pick-up. I nearly ended up with a runaway train when reversing for the re-pick-up --- just lack of concentration on my part! But thankfully all stayed on the track! I would miss that cow if I didn't see it!! Regards, David.

Ran this tonight while listening to some Bob Dylan. He had a railroad song (sort off) called Duquesne Whistle. Give it a listen some time. Anyway enjoyed the scenario and the cow on the rock. Thanks!

TANKS! saska1946, I try to keep them around 30 mins. Makes it easier to test them and get them out to you the people. :)

Thanks for releasing Part4, the scenarios are around the time span which suit me.
