The map is well done. I like the horse statue, hacienda house.
I was not able to jump to get to the ladder behind the church. The recent update with the "jump master" perk ruined a lot of jump-up locations for all of the maps.

Good job on the new underground section, more connections were needed for sure. Maybe the stone stairs are too tight, there's barely any room for side strafing there. Lighting problem is general, when you use a 'light' entity it should be setup properly depending the effect you want to give. Seems like your light sources use the "constant" paramenter as default which looks weird because light usually is stronger the closer it gets to light source. Take a look here for better explanation: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Constant-Linear-Quadratic_Falloff if you master those settings then indoor lighting will be much better

***UPDATE***

I think despite some light problems i solved some bugs... please send a screenshot if you still encounter graphic issues or other problems.

- Added a small underground system, containing:
The Prison below the main building
A tunnel to...
A stockpile including a stairway to the stables.

- Moooooore details, especially affecting gameplay :)


In current state, the map would still be rather played by 12 slots, but i think it can be fun as a 20 player map as well.

Hey, nice update. I just gave it a quick look but I find all the stuff you added quite fitting, it's looking good actually and quite detailed prop wise (unlike most fof maps ^^). Env lighting wise looks very pretty, indoors lighting could use some more work though. A gameplay review would require some testing, there may be neened some more connections and some easier paths at certain areas,hope some people here could set a server for you. Nice job

***MAJOR UPDATE***

With massive help from Rebel Yell, there's an update available for the map. Please note that i'm aware of some bugs (like a leak i didn't yet figure out how to fix) - but i'll be looking forward to your feedback :)

- Removed the shore side and replaced with more hacienda-style adequate buildings, like:
The Chapel (some mysteries waiting in there ;))
The Gardens
The Dormitories
The Tunnel

- Whole new skybox

- Many details

Very tight map, suited well for 12 slot servers. Course, I haven't had more than 12 players to test it with, but hey. It tends to get voted for a lot on m'server, so you must be doin' something right.

Update 31-10-2016

- Textures should be displayed correctly now

- Added some details, main hacienda building now doesn't look so "empty" anymore.

If you're including custom assets be sure to embed them into the bsp file. The big texture that is missing seems to be

maps/fof_hacienda1_1/nature/blendsandsand008b_wvt_patch

You can use impulse 107 with cheats on to view what texture is under your crosshair.

probably just means you used a texture that's not from fof but some other source game

the clipbrushes are also a bit too low so it's pretty easy to get out of the map, other than that it's great :sfsmile:

I am aware that there are troubles with some textures. But i can't comprehend it since it's displayed correctly to me. Maybe you can share some screenshots of the missing textures? (the ones with purple check pattern).
