Having issues with crashing when putting picked up chests back down.

I'm having a problem which if I dig up a drying rack, my game disconnected. It's a dst multiplayer game. Either host or any players who dig it up will get disconnected when it's placed down.

are you guys saying it does not work :(

@codiejay This particlar workshop is specifically made for DST only. *Some* mods are compatible with DS, but mostly all these mods are made for Don't Starve Together.

If you want to look for mods that are DS compatible, go to your library, click on Don't Starve then go to that workshop. There you will find mods that are only compatible with DS.

I might just take up on that challenge and reworking this mod myself. It's a challenge and people will still rage if I get it wrong. XD

@RampageJack No offense, but don't call a dev lazy. Some people move on to things they prefer, if you wanna call someone "lazy" then you can learn how to fix it and update it. That's not fair to the dev, especially when mods are free.

Very good trick man. But I have a problem and if I want to destroy it? Due to this mod it does not allow me to use the hammer to destroy what I want to reuse. and if you abbilitate that it is possible to do both, that is to destroy or disentangle?

before i get this is there a config to disable picking up ice boxes and chests?

I like the mod but have found picking up critters incredibly inconvenient. Would love to see this particular feature on toggle so I can use the mod again.

Suuuch a lifesaver (especially with the delux firepits... I'll place a thing, then realize the delux firepit covers the thing when completely fueled up, whoops xD)

Actually i dont know why there is sometime it work well, sometimes not, no clear error so i couldnt identify the problem.

Not sure if this is related to the mod, but it seems that whenever I dig up items, at some point soon after, the server will crash. It seems like it's items with inventory slots, so the fridge, and chest, etc. However, sometimes I'm able to move many objects before a crash happens. It's not entirely consistent, but this is one of the only server side mods I'm running besides some characters (most of which I've tried removing to solve the issue).

Any help you can provide is appreciated! I love this mod, and would hate to have to remove it.

If you can, could you also allow the Engie's tools to be picked up? It would help the mod out a lot

@Hip_Username i did the same thing but with Ancient Pseudoscience station because just like @Lauching Zed i wasn't able to plant it. Both underground and above ground, even on the original turf i got it from it won't let you do it. Luckily was able to roll back to a day just before i put it in the chest, very lucky i dont have to hammer it. The previous save, which is now gone, would have been before i picked up the science station, I wish I hadn't.

I will live with the reduced inventory slot for the time being.

@M.Y Despite the above, I still love this mod. Whenever you do find time, if you could fix this one last bug, myself among many others would be greatly appreciative.

Yes, confirmed last night. It gives the option to plant, but when you try to do it, it doesnt plant and the option dissapears. I forget what i need to do to get it to show up again but yeah planting the ancient pseudoscience station above ground doesnt work, i need to check if it works planting below ground. It would be nice if we could plant it above ground.

Has anyone else encounted a problem with pickingthe ancient pseudoscience station? I picked it up in my game but it wont let me plant it.

@M.Y I understand, either way it's the only mod I've found of it's kind and it makes game life much easier. Disabled and it worked, thanks for the help

@Hip_Username solution is : disable this mod then you can hammer it or burn it, then enable the mod again. Sorry i dont have much time atm to fix my mods.

So I did something stupid, I shoveled up drying racks and put them in a chest rather than placing them right away. I forgot about them and several game days later I saved and quit. The next time I played the drying racks were all placed on top of each other right over the chest. I can't dig them up with the shovel without the game crashing a few seconds after. I can't destroy them with a hammer, I can't set them on fire, and I can't even use the delete under mouse console command to get rid of them (I can dry meat though lol). All of my rollbacks have the drying racks in the chest, so for now they're just an eyesore until I can figure out what to do.

This is a great mod though, there are some issues with chests, they have to be empty or you have to plant them quickly before your game crashes, but I haven't had much difficulty otherwise. Just don't do dumb things like put drying racks in a chest and exit the game and you'll be fine.
