Although the combine are an alien force, the Overwatch Soldiers + Metrocops are still human, it's just that the soldiers are transhuman with augmentations and are basically a blank slate, while Metrocops are fully human who gets "better" living conditions for serving the combine

Yeah, I've already done the V2 soldiers player models, I will ask JimTheCookie if he is okay that I upload the playermodels on the Workshop with credits of course.

For the metrocop to work, you need to rename its files(I.E:police_customcombinepm.mdl to police.mdl) and do that for the other files too (phy,vtx,vvd...etc).

Yes, you have to rename all the others files (.vtx,vvd...etc) not only the mdl file.

Alright After renaming all the mdl files to their vanilla counterpart, I loaded the game and selected one of the normal playermodels and they were completely invisible for me, could this have anything to do with the lua?

I think you can extract this addon and rename the models name (I;E: player/combine_soldier_customcombinepm.mdl to player/combine_soldier.mdl) then create a folder(you can name it whatever you want) in your addons folder that is in your main garrysmod folder and drop the materials and the models in your newly created folder. If you have any question, feel free to ask.

I would like to replace the normal playermodels with this so I have a more appealing experience on rp servers, so the combine look more like proper police.

What do you mean by using the hexed version because these models are already kind of hexed and they are using two textures bodygroups for the pms(The first one being colorable eyes and the second one being the original skin textures) ?

Yeah, I know about this, They have css playermodels physics otherwise their right arm glitches out when i compile them with HL2's physics (I don't know why it do that though) as you can see on the screenshot of Phill.Strong's comment below.
