@Feaver: You subscribed to this version which requires Network Extensions 2. You're missing the tiny road from that mod. If you don't use that mod, use the link at the top of the description for a version of this which does not use the mod.

These are great assets, thank you for sharing them in the workshop. I also skipped Network Extensions 2., but I have subscribed for RON and if you have RON, these assets do not require any more Network Extensions 2.

@toadsurfering: No, Network Extensions 2 just hasn't been updated in a while. As far as I know it works fine, but it's generally safer to use road assets and avoid mods that add networks.

@toadsurfering: You're probably missing Network Extensions 2. I recommend using the version without the tiny road - and then using Fine Road Anarchy 2 if you want a tiny road going into it.

Added a version without a tiny road - you will need mods to force a road through, or you can use it without. It works either way! :)

Great asset but how could I change it in asset editor to change NEXT2 roads? I try to get rid of them and change them for smth else. I did this in edtor but nothing worked out.

@Avanya -- Is there anyway you would consider updating this asset to replace the currently required Network Extensions 2 (NExt2) roads with suitable replacements from either this collection or one of the collections found in this guide? The roads in this collection and guide are 98% one-to-one replacements for the roads generated by NExt2.

NExt2 not only has conflicts with some other mods now, the roads themselves aren't really road assets, because the mod creates them. So the Loading Screen Mod provides no benefits to sharing textures, materials or meshes, thus using more RAM and potentially lowering performance (fps) for some players.

I don't see any questions in my post where I asked anything as it was more an informational post in response to you saying NEXT will probably be updated (it won't be). On my end I just unsubbed anything that requires NEXT.

@Avanya It's unlikely NEXT will ever be updated and by the next DLC it will be broken forever. As said over on reddit:

'Network Extensions 2 will be broken with the next game update. Harmony 2.0 made the step so that NExt2 can not use the same "command" to function. It would need a whole re wrote of the code. That is not gonna happen and the mod is broken after all since it uses a very old technique. You can run into random issues that are not identifyable to any other mod then it may be caused by NExt2. The choice is on your own :)'

@NAME NAME NAME: More likely I'd make a version without the little road so nothing except props would be required. They players can drag a road through with road anarchy if they'd like. I'm not sure I'll do this, and it wouldn't be any time soon I'm afraid, but I will definitely consider it.

I also don't expect the issue with NE2 and Harmony to last forever - either NE2 will be updated or another version that's updated will appear. Too many saves depend on it for there not to be a solution. But that doesn't mean that another version not requirering the mod couldn't be a good idea.

In previous replies, you mentioned that there's no room for anything but a 1u road, so NExt 2 is required. Delta 5-1 has recently uploaded 1u roads that are independent of NExt, as part of his vanilla + collection. Maybe you could make a version that uses this road instead, as it's a standalone item instead of the full, and now broken, collection that is NExt.

I love the look of this station, and how it seamlessly integrates into Miyagi Motors factory buildings. Functionally, I've found more success with the station by using "Touch It" to change the 2-way inside the asset to a 1-way alley, and then converting the roads at the front of the asset to 2-lane-2-way roads which creates a "traffic circle" for cargo trucks that rarely has to cross the asset's train tracks.

For those who don't want to use NExt:
1. Load a map with NExt enabled
2. Use "Touch it" to change the road inside to something else
3. Save the game
4. Exit and unsub NExt. Done!

I can't promise this will not create visual issue with the proximity of a wider road to the tracks though.

Hi, is it possible that this cool station does not require Network Extensions? It's really marvellous and I can't use it––it won't load.

BTW, what for does it depend on them? I don't really get it.

@May: There isn't room for anything but a tiny road. There's only 1 tile free - anything wider would be on the tracks and start causing problems with the trains. So it wouldn't even be possible for me to make my own road for it, since it needs to be 1 tile wide.

I didn't notice it was a tiny road. I would rather prefer a concrete street without visible crossings in this station as it would look more realisitc. But I totally understand why you won't create your own road for this.
Guess, I'll have to load NExt2 again :)

@May: No. Tiny roads aren't possible without NExt. Zoning wasn't made for anything smaller than 2 tiles, so 2 tile roads don't work like they should without code from a mod. But in case you haven't noticed you can disable all the roads you aren't using in NExt. So if you just want the tiny one, you can disable all the others and only the tiny one will load. Just go into Options for the mod and you'll find them all. :)

Is there any chance of a version which does not require NExt at all? Since roads can officially be modded and NExt seemed to take up lots of memory, I usually don't enable it any more. The only content I'm missing so far, is your awesome cargo station because of that tiny road. Would be awsome If you had a custom (truck only) road on that property instead of the NExt one.

this station always causes huge traffic jams, because the trains are stuck in it....I'll try to fix it by putting one way tracks as access tracks only. The issue is happening because the trains are longer than the station and are blocking the junctions in front of them, so that when there are two trains in the station they're blocking each other

@saintkhawnan: The error means the tiny alleyway road is missing, so either NExt isn't enabled or the tiny alleyway isn't enabled in options for NExt. As for what's causing you problems I recommend checking out this list for broken mods. There's some more which are causing harmless errors, but you can ignore those until the mods are updated and they go away.

Actually, I am subscribed to the NE2 mod... Not certain which mod yet crashes my city; but your asset is just one of around 50 that did load with just an error since 1.9... I will have to try and place your asset later once my city stops crashing:(... Nonetheless, it's a beautiful asset-- thanks for all your hard work on this!

@lukacdominik: Yes, the roads in the two mods are the same, so anything requiring NExt 1 will work with version 2 as well. :)

these are a couple of awesome assets.
unfortunately vehicles seem to have trouble with a rail crossway and an intersection right next to each other. every minute or two, a vehicle gets stuck right between the track and the road and causes a massive traffic jam until it despawns

Hmm, it might be worth trying to rotate it slightly as it snaps to the road. I remember having some issues with it seeming perfectly straight on there, but still complain. If it's any help the road connected to it is 10 units long, which is a bit wider than the 8 units the building is. I'll add some screenshots of the building on it's own to better show how it looks.

@cfav78 As this one has road connected to it you'll need to make sure there's enough room for it. I found it easiest to make a fair amount of room and then connect to the existing road on one side first. Then I'd connect it back up on the other side. If you can grab a screenshot and send me a link to it. Perhaps I can spot why it's acting up for you.

Love it but it would be awsome if the road through it was oneway so trucks enter the front and exit out the back
