And the settings ( for the audio guide wallpaper ):
Source Data Color: black ( to hide it )
Normalize: on ( speed: max )
Smoothing: on ( amount: max )
Motionblur: on ( amount: 50% )
Power: 'val ^ 2' or 'val ^ 3'

But yeah, dont have the time to teach :( Also not a great teacher haha .. But there are some guides for wallpaper engine, and internet is full of coding examples :) It's just a matter of doing it and spending 100's hours on learning new things ..
Personally I would not be for a delay as there already is minor one and if it does not look like it is in sync with the music it probably wont be very good eyecandy as it would seem delayed and therefor buggy.
I can't think of a quick way to do something that would be satisfying .. But it is an interesting idea so will probably give it a couple of thoughts :)
I have tested some of my wallpapers on things ranging from people talking and calm classical or ambient music to speedmetal or gabber and anything in between. They all have their own traits when it comes to the FFT data we get and I just try to find some settings in the middle that work for most or see if I can find some setting that can help certain situations ( thats how I end up with tooo many settings )
