BRACK/MOUTH 14 Jan, 2017 @ 8:36pm
this mod doesn't seem to affect the speed of Keening.
Rivox 16 Mar, 2016 @ 7:05am
Can somebody tell me if Companions can swing their daggers now faster too ? (sorry for my english)
ZetaPaladin 19 Jan, 2015 @ 4:17pm
YES.
acrane 8 Mar, 2014 @ 5:29pm
can you make faster swords? please
Steven 1 Oct, 2013 @ 4:43am
thank u guy.
Forsythe 13 Apr, 2013 @ 11:28pm
Any idea when this will be compatable with Dragonbone daggers? They're so slow and clunky by comparison, and I'd much rather have the full set rather than having the Dragonbone/scale armour and glass daggers.

Can you create a light version of this mod "Slightly Faster Daggers" maybe? and set the speed increase to 35% or so? 55% just seems to fast after using it, though the damage is balanced, good job. On the power attacks you end up 'hitting' about half way through the movement forward.

@Kai: The game's weapon swing speeds are actually different, though not extremely noticeable. My timing for attacks with swords, axes, and maces are definitely not the same.

I really want someone to make a mod that makes two-handed weapons faster in some way. Can you? or did somebody do it and i just can't find it?
Kai 18 Dec, 2012 @ 9:34pm
Would be nice if there's a weapon speed tweak for all weapons based on their weight.

Dagger = 1.6x faster
Sword = 1.3~1.4x faster based on weight
Axe = 1.1~1.2x faster based on weight
Mace = 1.0x
Greatsword = 1.2x faster based on weight
Battleaxe = 1.1x faster based on weight
Warhammer = 1.0x

Did The Mod Maker (I want this mod. But i seen Dark Demoics comment) Fix the 'All one handed speed' Problem?
Cowboy Whale Man 17 Aug, 2012 @ 2:57pm
makes dagges way better :D
Dark Demonic Dremora 25 Jul, 2012 @ 1:32pm
All one handed weapons is faster with this mod, not only the dagger.
NewWorldDisorder 4 Apr, 2012 @ 11:50am
is there a version without the damage boost available?
Rogue 26 Mar, 2012 @ 7:48am
I agree with Apple iRage. Damage should be left alone, daggers are meant to be used as daggers, not as swords. Pretty awesome mod in pretty much every other way, though!
thefacelessgod 12 Mar, 2012 @ 10:16pm
I get the feeling the bugs in this mod won't be fixed?
Tulkas 21 Feb, 2012 @ 2:52pm
So far with this mod, Sometimes the dagger's don't swing when I ask. It takes a couple of mouse clicks to get a swing out of it.

Shadowx93 yer i tried changing the reversed daggers but they just wouldnt go faster for some reason
Digital 15 Feb, 2012 @ 5:40am
The reversed daggers mod makes new daggers, and doesn't cxhange the old. I figure he only changed the normal daggers in this mod.
Burrito  [author] 13 Feb, 2012 @ 10:47pm
@NissEhkiin[FIN] ive already tried and it didnt work but i could try again
니쎄 13 Feb, 2012 @ 7:36am
could this be updated to work with the reversed daggers mod? now it only works on non-reversed daggers. Would be much appreciated
Mr. Knife 12 Feb, 2012 @ 2:36pm
stealth characters can already do 30.0 x normal damage with a stealth attack, the speed and damage of the dagger should be left alone
RaMa 12 Feb, 2012 @ 10:21am
I'm sorry. I now think my problem was caused by the Dual Flurry Perk. It's an odd perk. Apparently it makes attacks with two weapons go faster than attacks with one weapon, not matter what one-handed weapon you use... :/
RaMa 12 Feb, 2012 @ 7:01am
The Combat Finesse mod by Selbs had the same problem, but he fixed it. Maybe you could ask Selbs how to do that?
RaMa 12 Feb, 2012 @ 5:09am
All dual wielding now makes the right hand faster. Even when I turn off the mod, like I said in my previous post.
RaMa 12 Feb, 2012 @ 3:59am
I found the same bug as Keinzeit. More importantly, even after I disable the mod I experience the bug :(
Does anyone have a solution? jozzarazzer?
Phrack 12 Feb, 2012 @ 3:39am
Found a bug. With a dagger equiped in the left hand and a sword/mace/axe in the right hand, the mod will cause the right hand weapon to move as fast as the dagger when you power attack.
Solum 12 Feb, 2012 @ 2:38am
I don't think damage of daggers should be changed, but increasing swing speed would be awesome. if both speed and damage is increased, it would make daggers OP
Manasaurus 12 Feb, 2012 @ 2:09am
I agree with most everybody here, 55 just seems a little bit too fast. Maybe try it at 35%?
Elley 11 Feb, 2012 @ 1:58pm
Hmmm I agree with the people that say 55% seems a bit too fast. However, it would be great to upload to a site like Skyrim Nexus and have different speed versions up for download.
Tommy 11 Feb, 2012 @ 10:57am
make it around 25-30% faster, 55 is a little too much, and with elemental fury i cant even see the daggers
Burrito  [author] 10 Feb, 2012 @ 3:33pm
@CRsmiley if you want to change it back to default just take the file out of your skyrim data folder or un-tick it in the data files section of the launcher
CRSmiley 10 Feb, 2012 @ 10:37am
Is Daggers Damaged reduced if it is change it back to default.
Burrito  [author] 9 Feb, 2012 @ 6:29pm
@brotherpoole the animation seems fine for just alot faster i may slow it down slightly in the future
Bon Voyage Charlie 9 Feb, 2012 @ 5:15pm
I really, really like the concept of this, as I play with daggers a lot and was constantly annoyed with the vanilla speed. However, I feel as though 55% faster is a bit ridiculous, as the animation becomes rather... for lack of a better word, choppy. Could just be my pc, though.
Burrito  [author] 9 Feb, 2012 @ 12:16pm
@stardust i have been thinking of doing some more changes on them but at first i just wanted to make them swing faster because they seemed to swing too slow even thought they are tiny and pretty much weightless
Snotwasabi 9 Feb, 2012 @ 1:30am
I actually think your going the wrong way about changing how effective daggers are in combat compared to there longer counterparts. I would personally go after changeing values such as fatigue cost per swing or a chance on hit effect (Eg. chance to stagger) and etc. straight up changing damage values and swing speeds is O.K but not as fun :). Good work so far though.
Burrito  [author] 8 Feb, 2012 @ 4:30pm
@marta_zuriguel lol, glad i could help
Melitzrah (Mel * Melianteas) 8 Feb, 2012 @ 3:56pm
I was dual weilding with daggers all the time having fun attacking dragons but finally my husband convinced me to have at least 1 sword. Now no more swords. Hurray!
Burrito  [author] 8 Feb, 2012 @ 1:57pm
@artcrime its your lucky day im having trouble with the ck not working so they are kept the same
artcrime 8 Feb, 2012 @ 1:42pm
Leave the dagger dps as is. NPCs attack faster too dont they? Gotta keep the challenge in there
Burrito  [author] 8 Feb, 2012 @ 1:27pm
@lowp1ng i just checked and the daggers are doing more dps than the swords so that will be fixed soon
Silar 8 Feb, 2012 @ 1:15pm
Don't know if it's balanced or not, but it seems an awful lot like a cheat mod if the daggers aren't making less damage while swinging faster.
Burrito  [author] 8 Feb, 2012 @ 1:02pm
@DovahkiinTheNord thnx :)
Cloud Strife 8 Feb, 2012 @ 12:39pm
This is the kind of mod I want, awesome presentation

Does this work with https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=7503 ?? if not, mind making it :?
Stalky 8 Feb, 2012 @ 1:56am
Nice. I hate fighting with daggers, because they did not much damage and were slow..
But now... :D
Potato 8 Feb, 2012 @ 1:53am
@Jozzarozzer :
I'm not gonna bash your mod, it's neat imo :)
But could you add the speed percentage on the description instead of the comment :)
For future downloaders.
