You spelled "their" wrong in the description.

does this still work on b41?

so far it still works on mine and I has other professions along side it

I have not tried it recently. Playing other games at the moment, however I will take a look when I get around to PZ.

Anyone else have this profession glitch into a game when selecting a new life? I had another profession selected, and when I attempted to start another life, 'prepper' was the only one available.

Please add "Body Oder" or "Inherent Distrust of the World" as a trait for the purposes of realism
XD or at lease a collection of Disney figurines?:steamhappy:

you need to add crafting skills +1. Most real preppers have the basics of thes skils.
Neko Dae 18 Nov, 2016 @ 11:09pm
I didn't see it for some reason, possibly (probably) a game glitch on my end, but i re-installed and it was there. Thanks :)

At the main menu you can see the mods tab at the bottom left of the screen. Select that and it will bring up the mods you have. My mod should be named Prepper Profession. Make sure you click on it to enable it. Once I get home from work I will check and see if everything is working properly
Neko Dae 17 Nov, 2016 @ 12:57am
Where's the mods menu? I'm Subscribed to this, but I see nothing new.
Blackbeard  [author] 16 Nov, 2016 @ 7:16am
Once you have done that you can easily find it when you create your character
Blackbeard  [author] 16 Nov, 2016 @ 7:15am
Once you subscribe to the mod, you will need to go into the mod menu and activate it.
Neko Dae 16 Nov, 2016 @ 2:15am
So are there any special things you need to do to get this to show up in the Profession list? Cause it's not anywhere there?

If you feel it's op then counter it with negative traits. I'm honestly confused as to why you would whine that it's overpowered when.

A: It's Optional

B: It's shows in the photo the trait boosts so there's complete transparency about what it is.

C: You can nerf it manually by adding negative traits.

Oh yea, and once again. IT IS OPTIONAL
PhineasJack™ 10 Nov, 2016 @ 2:54pm
but... it's his mod... it's his optional mod.... I don't need to be an agoraphobic obese vegetarian to be a prepper as it is. plenty of people are just "better" than the average Joe and some of the jobs need to reflect that.

Unholy 6 Nov, 2016 @ 1:49pm
Hey guys, shut the fuck up and stop whinning. That's right, take you inane bitch, appreciate your fucking overlords. What the literal fuck is wrong with you all? *coughs* Stoc *coughs* holm *coughs* syn *coughs* drome.

...now I'm at 2 hours. O.o and miraculously not dead. YAHOO.
veritas6 5 Nov, 2016 @ 6:54pm
I agree with Dog Soldier - any Mod is better than no mods - hell its the best part of the gameyou can make it what you want
MarkJerue 5 Nov, 2016 @ 6:30pm
I have 61 minutes in this game. Re-installing after watching a few Let's Plays of this game. I'm happy this mod is around; I hope this'll make learning how to play easier (and getting to some of the juicy stuff before I die 80 times). Thanks Blackbeard!
Blackbeard  [author] 5 Nov, 2016 @ 5:19pm
thanks. I'm doing what I can. I don't know everything, yet.. Once I figure out how things work I have lots more to make...
Jigglesw0rth 5 Nov, 2016 @ 5:17pm
Dont know why so many people hating on this. "its op", "better skills than swat/ cops riiight". get over it! what was the last mod any ouf you ungrateful F@%ks made??.. thats right you didnt. stop whining about it and give constructive feedback or get bent. Its not like he didnt tell you it wasn't perfect off the rip. Hats off to you Blackbeard, keep it up.
Unholy 5 Nov, 2016 @ 2:18pm
For balance reasons, I think preperr should require negative attriubes.
veritas6 4 Nov, 2016 @ 9:38pm
LE Trainer and SWAT COP - Marksmanship like all other things is built on sound fundamentals, repitition - perfect preactice - and even with this bottomline: all martial arts are perishable skills

Cheers
Blackbeard  [author] 4 Nov, 2016 @ 1:22pm
@ fuzzdr true. just because your an leo or military does not mean you can shoot. I still hold tight groupings since 06, and that was before the military and LE. It depends on the person, PMA, and the fundamentals.
PickleRick 3 Nov, 2016 @ 6:59pm
@Dragon Lizard you must not know any police irl cause everytime people that I know have seen them at shooting ranges they cant shoot for crap. They don't spend thier time shooting, it spent driving and talking.
Blackbeard  [author] 2 Nov, 2016 @ 3:21pm
Thanks for the comments! I plan to revamp this mod entierly, with a new icon and stats. I am still learning how the profession system works and will be nerfing this mod soon. As for the new players I will be making a new OP profession which will help new players get accustomized to the world of Zomboid.
simon 2 Nov, 2016 @ 11:13am
This is a very cool idea, but it's too overpowered too go with the rest of all the professions.
Oh, you actually said that in the description, sorry :)
Oh well, you get it then, this mod needs a little nerfing and after that the mod will be amazing!
gnome 2 Nov, 2016 @ 10:20am
Holy crap, that's good! Maybe I won't die on the 1st week as often with this. :P
greexx 2 Nov, 2016 @ 9:01am
must be american
Riot 2 Nov, 2016 @ 7:36am
somehow the prepper firearms and reloading skill is better than both the police officer and the military vet.... riiiight.
Mrs.Crafty 2 Nov, 2016 @ 3:47am
i think this is a great idea a prepper is something the game didnt have, as im a bit of a prepper myself id say maybe add a bonus to first aid and something herbalism related. knowing local plants and wild medicine while hiking is something my family and i try to learn alot about. thanks for this though it adds to the game in a new way
Blackbeard  [author] 1 Nov, 2016 @ 1:18pm
thanks for the comment. I've made this a while back, and just figured out how to upload it. I am working on more and may alter this one a bit
Nozulator 1 Nov, 2016 @ 6:11am
this is an amazing concept, definitely gonna check this out! thanks :)
