Nice mechanic but once solved, repeating this puzzle is too fast. I got here because I was searching for anyone using BEEMOD2.2.5 (not the 2.4 thing) element "Global Cube Dropper".
Since the Portal 2 Valve update to get the salt walls to look right, the element "Global Cube Dropper" stopped working. Anyone fixed this?

@mood3rd : Well the beginning is correct... But you were not supposed to use the laser of the first room in the second one XD Will have to find a way to fix that...

Oh, well I got it X) So this is just a stupid angled laser solution like I use all the time XD Well, will remove this white surface anyway, it was never supposed to be portalable, I probably forgot it ;)
And be sure I add the name of the guys that found some exploits when I update a map :p

The thing you may not be understand is that I'm not using the cube in the dropper. I'm creating a portal below the dropper so the laser passes underneath it.

Bahh You do this to me all the time. You make awesome complex tests and I come along and figure them out with an easier solution and you go change it. I think you need to add "UnableRouge Proof" to all of your maps that I cant break. xD

Played the map then read the comments. I'm going to play it again and examine it better. I didn't have a problem with the lasers. map was short and sweet. Enjoyed.

Well, this new design guides the player more, starting with a puzzle where the technique is taught without possible 'glitchyness', and pretty much shows everything you said you wanted to show, including the rendering depth. Of course, the surprise is gone, and I kind of liked the minimalism of the other part better... it was a bit more puzzling to me. But this one has its own merits.

Map updated! If all of you could test it again and tell me if you like the new desing (and eventually if you find any way out that looks like an exploit) it would be cool ^^

Alright. Granted, it did take me a couple of minutes. I love minimalistic chambers like this that show you something new (even though I knew about the effect, but haven't seen it in a while, so it still took a bit of thinking).

@Mr Vapour Waterhandle : Yeah I know about the depth limit and this map is both to make the player aware of this effect and to show you can use it in real puzzle situations ;) Anyway the angled multi-transmission is really tricky and not necessary to show the effect itself... I will update the map soon to make it a little better and probably a bit easier to get so that it looks less glitchy ;)

Okay, I did it, after reading some of the other comments. This map would be a lot better if you edited it in hammer to have portal placement helpers or something on at least one side, because what I showed in my screenshot seemed more like a glitch to me, since I didn't know about the portal rendering depth.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I figured out what to do, only it seems impossible, because past a certain point, the lazers stop going through both portals. Here's a screenshot showing what I mean: http://www.upl.co/upload/g8Ua1We7U . It's a shame, because I would've really liked this map if that worked.

What an awesome effect... I liked the really thick beam I made by having the portals on directly opposite sides of the reflector cube. Yet another great map.

@Haberdasher,THE Worst Internet : Well as you said here the idea was not to use portal bump glitch, but to show how to use multiple laser transmission ^^
But the fact that lasers will not burn you in mid air is probably more a glitch, or maybe an intended feature to make the maps made with the editor easier... So if you want to experiment it you can try my map Find the Glitch ;)

got it, now make a test with the fact that you can't be hit by lasers in mid air unless the laser is entirely vertical.
