...any updates on the type-11?
Moon.  [author] 18 Oct, 2019 @ 5:06am
He is busy with various things. It will be done when it's done.
BIG GUY 17 Oct, 2019 @ 10:24pm
Is that friend still making the model?
Moon.  [author] 8 Jul, 2019 @ 12:43am
A friend of mine is currently making a model.
BIG GUY 8 Jul, 2019 @ 12:41am
is there another game that has it and could be ported?
BIG GUY 8 Jul, 2019 @ 12:41am
ohh
Moon.  [author] 7 Jul, 2019 @ 11:54pm
The one from Pacific Assault does not have a complete viewmodel.
BIG GUY 7 Jul, 2019 @ 4:25pm
could the type-11 machine gun be ported from Medal Of Honor?
Moon.  [author] 26 Jun, 2019 @ 2:39am
I can't code either and I have no interest in making it a swep. If you want a swep, find someone to do it.

Though, this model is very outdated and I would not recommend using it.
Chairman Mao's Chicken 25 Jun, 2019 @ 10:31pm
Can you make it a swep? If not maybe get someone else to do it? I would really like to be able to use the type 99 lmg as a swep, but there are none on the workshop, and I can't code!
Moon.  [author] 30 May, 2017 @ 5:35pm
Pretty much.
The OG Quigga Gaming 30 May, 2017 @ 5:33pm
And their machine guns were no exception
Moon.  [author] 30 May, 2017 @ 5:32pm
This was used more as a marksman/assault rifle thingie, they were often equipped with scopes too.

Plus the IJA put bayonets on everything.
The OG Quigga Gaming 30 May, 2017 @ 3:20pm
Putting a bayonet on an lmg is pointless
The OG Quigga Gaming 30 May, 2017 @ 5:41am
oh :P
Moon.  [author] 30 May, 2017 @ 4:44am
Bodygroups.
The OG Quigga Gaming 29 May, 2017 @ 10:50pm
how do you fold the bipod and how do you remove the bayonet on the gun?
Moon.  [author] 31 Oct, 2016 @ 2:28am
fixed.
Vodkaloid 30 Oct, 2016 @ 8:00pm
Another nice port! It's great that the monopod on the stock is bodygrouped, the other Type 99 model on the workshop has the monopod permanently deployed. Good that the magazine and bayonet are removable w/seperate models as well. A very good addon overall, nice work!

(In the description, you typed "rear bayonet" instead of rear monopod)
Moon.  [author] 30 Oct, 2016 @ 7:40am
The bayonet ended up being underused since the flash hider sort of ruined it. Most of these guns were used as assault or sniper rifles since many of them had scopes.
Katto 30 Oct, 2016 @ 7:31am
An LMG with a bayonet. For charging and holding the line within the same minute.
Moon.  [author] 30 Oct, 2016 @ 7:26am
It's the same cas as with the Sten and the Type 100: they only look similar because they were based on the same gun; in that case it was the Bergmann MP28.
Piper 30 Oct, 2016 @ 7:25am
Ok thanks
Moon.  [author] 30 Oct, 2016 @ 7:25am
The Czech ZB vz. 26. The bren and the Type 96 and Type 99 are all copies of it.
Piper 30 Oct, 2016 @ 7:23am
So what came first?
Moon.  [author] 30 Oct, 2016 @ 7:23am
It's based on the same gun that the bren was based on.
Piper 30 Oct, 2016 @ 7:11am
Looks alot like the Bren
BULLY HUNTER_69 30 Oct, 2016 @ 7:10am
k
Moon.  [author] 30 Oct, 2016 @ 7:09am
So what? It probably was due to the lack of superior compiles back then.
I told you I am not interested in porting it right now.
BULLY HUNTER_69 30 Oct, 2016 @ 7:09am
that guy that tried porting the CAatalina but it's just a giant purple mess
Moon.  [author] 30 Oct, 2016 @ 7:08am
What?

Moon.  [author] 30 Oct, 2016 @ 6:48am
As long as you give credit to all involved parties im cool with it.
Moon.  [author] 30 Oct, 2016 @ 6:48am
I was planning on porting the catalina a while back, but currently I am not interested.
BULLY HUNTER_69 30 Oct, 2016 @ 6:34am
can you port the Catalina model from WAW there is a model already set here but the port I've seen is crap https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1147151
JesseSmith 30 Oct, 2016 @ 6:12am
Hey, do you mind if I use this model in an animation I am making?
Moon.  [author] 29 Oct, 2016 @ 5:41pm
No, this was definetely a light machine gun, especially when you consider it was based on the zb vz 26.
Atlantic_Lemur 29 Oct, 2016 @ 5:07pm
Hmm, judging by both the bipod and bayonet attachments, I'd say the Type 99 might had been an early assault rifle rather than a light machine gun. But them iron sights placement with the ammo feed configuration though, like to the side of the gun instead of the top as usual.
