took Pordenone from serie C to serie A in two seasons with this tactic and minimal transfers (mostly loans). Grasped serie A promotion by winning the play-offs. Amazing tactic, lots of fun!

Very good tactic,always 3~4 goals, and even by ten-men.It seems forwards are the key, and MC are not very important.Wing back needs good stamina.

Tactic does work in getting a lot of goals, this season my 3 strikers racked up 70+ goals between them. I know I can invest more in my defense when I can trust my attack to score.

@wUR - as I said just below you mate, there is a new version coming to be better at away games as well, just doing some final tests

Great tactic to use for home games. No success in away games. As a team in 2nd I am getting beat 4/5-0 at away games

Great so far. Tried it with Ipswich in 2023 in the Championship. First full season, I'm 24 games in and 2nd. 7pts clear of promotion and 20 of the playoffs. Scoring loads!

Mixed success with this tactic, very effective at home but struggling quite a lot away from home. I may consider going to a Counter mentality for away games instead.

@c4tenaccio - okay well if you were to look at your tactic, see from the 3 attackers point of view. The center one should be aa ST then right and left in theory should be something like a left sided or right footed/positional striker/forward yes? OR you can even put a left footed or right footed attacking midfielder which also works very well.

thanks for replying just a small question about when you said "put a decent amr aml" on either side of the attacker..so you suggest to change the two supporting strikers to attacking mids or just put attacking mids there as st? Im still getting used to game so aplogies if it sounds amateurish.

I have a question to the author and anyone who can answer from experience please: do you have to have the right srikers for those forward postions and what do you do if you have strikers injured can you play winger type players in those forwards support ST roles and how would you do that?? Also whats best way to deal with away matches in this formation from experience as it concedes alot away from home? cheers for the support

@rtyzack - Ahh sorry, yea I leave that to the Assistant Manager, its served me well using the tactic so. I thought I had mentioned it.

@kev.bells10 - it's working alright for me, I will check it out again on multiple teams and see if much more has changed. So far though it's working as it should be as it did upon first release.

Just beat atletico madrid as real madrid (ik but just testing the formation out) 6-0 away without bale... amazing formation cheers mate

1st season in the game trying this as Hull (no transfers made) and just beat Spurs 6-2*... so far so good!

*Admittedly they had Wanyama in goal at the end but I was already 4-2 up when Lloris went off injured

Overall team talk mate, being aggressive so I learnt on the "Sports Interactive" forums where in my opinion Mr Hough who made some of the best tactics available in previous FM games always said its the best method. For me too it's always worked

When you say use aggressive team talk - do you just mean the overall team talk? Or should I say some aggressive things specifically to the strikers, midfielders, defenders?
