You also have to visit asteroids that haven't previously been generated, after installing the mod, for it to work.
With how sparse the asteroids are, it's entirely possible to still get clumps that're entirely copper or something dumb and still find durasteel rare.
Please post your Starbound.log on Pastebin [pastebin.com] and link it in a discussion thread.
To find your Starbound.log:
* Right-click 'Starbound' on Steam
* Click 'Properties'
* Click 'Local Files'
* Click 'Browse Local Files'
* Enter the 'Storage' folder

Visit asteroids you haven't been to.
Also if you use FU, it's likely that this is being over-written.
thank you ;_;
FU changes far too much for me to bother keeping track, tbh.
Every ore up to (and including) Durasteel. That's in the description.
You need to visit asteroids you've never been to before. Also RNG might just be rude sometimes.
The last update was in January.
The last comment saying this still works, was July.
Yes, it still works.
Yes
>Could you list them please and thank you. :)
I add diamond, iron, tungsten, titanium, and durasteel.
Depending on how the UI handles it, I may add more in the future.
Could you list them please and thank you. :)
The distributions are quite low. Finding huge blobs of stuff is pretty much RNG. It's either huge blobs or nothing for miles and miles. It's incredibly difficult to playtest when a 0.01 value can mean almost never finding ore.

Weird! I'll take a look. 'Cus the patch file itself works just fine.
