Is it up to date with the new dlcs?
LeonardMT 3 Nov, 2019 @ 11:24am
@SkeleMann no

This is great. Trying to add buildings to a 'district style' was painfully slow. Activating this made it so much faster.

Nothing noticeable. I just made sure it was using the latest versions of the files from the game and I did some minor updates to the code to make it a bit cleaner to maintain for me :)
stmSantana 7 Nov, 2018 @ 5:41am
Thanks update. What is "minor update for industries"?
Fondo monetario Internacional 27 Oct, 2018 @ 1:57pm
Works fine, dont care about that icon, thankyou sou mouch
Asser  [author] 27 Oct, 2018 @ 7:09am
I haven't figured out how to remove that icon yet :/ so that's why it still shows up. Achievements are still enabled though :)
Fondo monetario Internacional 26 Oct, 2018 @ 3:35pm
In the save the icon with a "cup red" still appears... (sorry for my english)
Asser  [author] 26 Oct, 2018 @ 8:46am
It should :) I haven't had any issues with it at least nor heard from anyone having issues with it.
KillerPolarBear 26 Oct, 2018 @ 6:10am
Is this mod working with the Industries DLC?
ol' rdtg 17 Sep, 2018 @ 1:46am
@Toyota Hilux -- Uhm, I don't think it's "illegal" lol, but some people might find it unethical or immoral or w/e because you can use unlock all mods to speed towards acheivements. But me, I don't care. Acheivements are kinda silly IMHO so if someone wants to unlock a bunch of them, go ham. I personally use this mod just to HAVE the acheivments with some of my fav mods like road anarchy, find it etc enabled.

@Asser - keep up the good work! :D
Toyota Hilux 7 Oct, 2017 @ 3:24pm
Is it legal because if you play with mods you can get the achievments way easier. That´s why they have blocked this function in the game. But the notification tool is very helpful thanks a lot.:scorepoint:
Asser  [author] 21 May, 2017 @ 7:39am
Works with 1.7 from my tests. Let me know in the Bug report thread if you experience any issues with the mod :-)
Axo to the Maxo 20 May, 2017 @ 7:54pm
does this work for 1.7?
Quiescent 3 Dec, 2016 @ 11:50am
Yeah I just figured it out! I feel so stupid, I should've tried with unlocker mod earlier. Thank you!

On the bright side, it made me clean up the dysfunctional mods. :)
Asser  [author] 3 Dec, 2016 @ 11:39am
The icon on the saves doesn't change. I haven't figured out how to remove it yet. If the setting is saved then the achievements are enabled :)
Quiescent 3 Dec, 2016 @ 11:25am
Thanks for your response! Now the option doesn't reset anymore, but it seems it still doesn't work because the achievement icon on the save file still says it's disabled.

It's likely that the problem is not the mod. I think I messed up the installation or something. I did unsubscribe Mod Achievement Enabler, and since then I have an error popup about it on the main menu. Meanwhile I also have some mods which I can't use because it crashes the game. I'll try some things, I will post on the thread if the problem persists.
Asser  [author] 3 Dec, 2016 @ 9:48am
@silmenir I made some changes to how the settings are stored. Can you test and see if it still breaks for you? :)
Asser  [author] 2 Dec, 2016 @ 4:49am
@silmenir that sounds strange. Can you post the log and other details in this discussion thread so I can have a look? I cannot reproduce it on my machines.
Quiescent 2 Dec, 2016 @ 1:17am
It doesn't work for me. I checked the enable achievement option, just to see it unchecked again everytime I opened the option.
Asser  [author] 1 Dec, 2016 @ 3:29pm
This mod should now be compatible with Natural Disasters. Let me know if you encounter any further issues :)
tronic 1 Dec, 2016 @ 12:36pm
Cool... thanks dude
Asser  [author] 1 Dec, 2016 @ 12:15pm
Working on it right now :)
tronic 1 Dec, 2016 @ 12:14pm
Please update this mod for ND/1.6. It's a great mod. Thanks. :)
Shadowcloud 30 Nov, 2016 @ 9:47am
Just letting you know, the mod creates an error message. So when you have the time, you could maybe fix that at the weekend or so :)
BrowncoatTrekky 29 Nov, 2016 @ 7:13am
Godspeed @Asser. Thanks @agusingnavy and @BloodyPenguin. @agusingnavy fellow modders recommended asking you something else unrelated so coming to you next lol.
Asser  [author] 29 Nov, 2016 @ 7:02am
NOTE: In case this mod is broken due to the Natural Disasters expansion then I won't be able to fix it until the weekend due to me being out of town. Please let me know if you have any issues with this mod.
benzoll 19 Nov, 2016 @ 12:25am
Cool
agusingnavy 7 Nov, 2016 @ 7:55am
@(AEF) Vindicator Steam Ovelay doesn't work becaue I'm sure you are using MSI Afterburner. If this is the case a workaround is
1- Launch Steam (with administrator rights suggested
2. Launch the game (with administratror rights suggested)
3- Press alt+tab or Windows key,etc and launch MSI Afterburner.

@BrowncoatTrekky with Mesh Mod by @SamsamTS and Steam Overlay enabled you can unsub from any asset in-game by pressing ctrl + M to show the info display, find the asset you want to unsub, double click on the name, the asset'sworkshop page will show up and then press unsubsribe.
Or do what @BloodyPenquin said.
BloodyPenguin 6 Nov, 2016 @ 7:56pm
@BrowncoatTrekky There are at least two mods that allow you to switch daytime or edit other sun related settings: Time Warp and Ultimate Eyecandy . Anyway, why add that completely unrelated functionality to this mod that does completely different thing?

As per naming, ModTools allows to display internal asset's id and that ID includes workshop ID as its first part.
BrowncoatTrekky 5 Nov, 2016 @ 10:29pm
@Asser. Look forward to updates. Congratulations.
Asser  [author] 5 Nov, 2016 @ 8:32pm
@BrowncoatTrekky I'm not sure how I'll implement something like that but I'll definitely look into it :)
@Vindicator the only thing that comes to mind is that you somehow managed to disable it in the settings for the game. I might be able to open the overlay from the mod itself so I can add an alternate keybinding for that. I'll look into it :)
VNDK8R 5 Nov, 2016 @ 7:53pm
Interesting mod. I have a tangent question you might be able to answer... I've found that that the Steam-in-game overlay no longer works for Cities for me, despite it being enabled in the game settings. It still works in other games however. Any ideas why this has occured?
BrowncoatTrekky 5 Nov, 2016 @ 5:58pm
@Asser. Thanks for reply. Yes. However authors don't always label their in-game assets the same as they would in the workshop. I wonder if there a way to indentify that to make that process easier as well. Other options which not sure if exist would be a way to bring a toggle for day night cycle to menu bar in-game to make easier for taking pics of assets.
Asser  [author] 5 Nov, 2016 @ 5:25pm
@BrowncoatTrekky

that sounds like an interesting idea. Something like you click a building and then you can mark it for some checklist complete with a link to the workshop?
BrowncoatTrekky 5 Nov, 2016 @ 4:43pm
Interesting idea. I look forward to this mod's progress and updates. In terms of feature requests... wondering if there is a way to mark an asset to a log file while in-game to unsub from it in the workshop at the end of the game. I have been looking for a workaround of unsubbing from heavy mb assets without having to go through screenshots and deleting them later.
