Hello, the mod isn't currently being worked on right now and I'm not sure if I'll be continue it in the future. If anyone would like to update/continue it, feel free to do so. You can use all the custom models/assets for whatever you want :er_heart:

Ya, I've modified their accuracy a bit. Some of the weapons accuracy was all over the place and didn't make sense in terms of stand/crouch/prone/walking/running/crouch-walking.

But it is easily modifiable and fixable.

Interesting skins but the main weapons suck, you can lay down an entire clip at someone while they casually walk up and knife you

Of all the conversion mods, this one I feel is the most balanced, most fleshed out(mini-bosses, weapons etc.), and has the right amount of challenge.

The only thing I would like to see is deployable turrets. Using deployable turrets is a favorite tactic of mine, and I feel like it's the only thing missing.

That aside, this mod is top tier, and how I like to play the game. There was a lot of work put into this mod, and it shows. Thanks for the hard work!

My guess is that it included some xml fixes, the last vanila patch broke several mods that had previously unnoticed xml syntax errors.

@Wellen_Lieutenant Even in vanilla RWR, a viable strategy to aid your faction (as they are somewhat neutered without the presence of a player,) is to spend RP to summon in a large batch of reinforcements. Within the mod, each faction has different specialities, which may become a little bit more apparent depending on troop distribution as set at the start of the match.

GDI are primarily anti-armour, their grenades are lethal to any vehicle but poor versus infantry.

Nod are somewhere in the middle, with a bigger focus on balance and stealth, given the ability of their shadowsuit and the lethality of the suppressed machine pistol.

Forgotten are the monsters though. Heightened AI aggression means they will rush you far more often than seeking cover. With increased armour HP and very lethal weapons to boot (At least above the first two tiers of soldier).

If you like the railgun... I presume you haven't seen a Cyborg Commando yet? ;)

I had a lot of fun with this. The railgun is absolutely hilarious to use, considering how it throws anyone you shoot with it really quite far. I started calling it "The fun rifle" because of how many times I laughed at flying NOD soldiers. The problem I encountered was that when I would take an area the enemy would call down more units to counter-attack and revert my progress. Every time I died my faction's momentum would grind to a screeching halt without a player to back them up. I gave up on my game because the stalemate became basically endless. I don't know if this is a problem with air support being used too frequently.

@A Bunny Vehicle models might be a ways off yet. I am presently helping chartile squash the last few bugs and ensuring that the campaign is playable from start to finish. There've been quite a few changes to the mod since the public release, so you'll have plenty to chew through in the meantime.

Hello! I'm glad to see people still play the mod even if it's been so long since I had updated.
Sorry for the long hiatus, but it looks like my computer won't be fixed anytime soon. Hopefully, I'll be able to fix it before June.

I'll work on this asap once I'm able to. I don't go online often anymore, but I do to look at comments to answer and stuff

@EgoJisto hehe I wanted to do that too. It was one of the things I wanted to make (and was learning to) before pc broke.

@CommieWeasel ohh yeah, that's a really good idea. It's pretty Lore-friendly and seems doable. I'll keep it in mind c:

What I meant was the actual modding of maps for them to more resemble Tiberium lore thematically - e.g. covered in big and small tiberium crystalls, like in yellow and red zones, maybe adding some weather effects, like ion storms in TS, etc. But I perfectly understand, that's a lot of work, and it's just cosmetic, so no pressure at all)
But, what you said is actually a nice little idea - and a great reference to the economic system of the original RTS games X)

That tiberium crystal thing would work replacing secret boxes. Destroying them would give tiberium shards, which you can sell at a good price.

Hey, guys, how's it goin'? Hope everything is ok with chartile and his pc, because this mod needs to live, not to live in death X)

Still playing in sp, still enjoying the absolute hell out of it! With Twisted Insurrection (marvelous mod for C&C Tiberium Sun) OST in the background, fighting is as epic as ever, you just emmerse completly and see the scenes of Tiberium Wars all around you, while running and gunning as simple Nod Militant or GDI Grunt. Absolutely awesome feeling!

Ideally, it would be great to have Campaign mode and bring your faction to victory in a long and gritty war, and also to add some Tiberium essence to the maps themselves, like tiberium crystals and alike.

But don't get me wrong, the mod is incredible as it is!

@SilentKore Work is still being done on the mod. Chartile has had a little bit of trouble with his computer, but as soon as it's resolved we'll be polishing off the last version and releasing it to the public. We're considering doing something with Pacific too, but we'll have to see.
