Hello I tried your ship mods and the ai built them, but in order to make sure of it, I edited the different species and give them ship sets (rebel / pirates) as I play empire.

After a short look in the savegame gamestate file I found following:

My faction has tech_st_rebel_01 researched which as far as I know is needed to build those custom ship lines. Both AI races which have as appearance st_empire_01 set don't even have tech_st_empire_01 researched. That means they are not even able to build those ships (ship designer etc).

Unfortunately it does not seem that the AI picks up the different ship lines.

@Meltdown/Gaydolf I was having the same issue, but figured out the issue. The missing textures are for a corvette class ship with a hanger. Since both the Rebel and Empire ship mods create that new class, it causes AI empires to try and make their own version of that Corvette, but without a designed ship, it just shows as that upside-down box.

I sure hope the Rebellion brought more than 1 Neb-2 (8 Turbo Lasers), 2 CRV's (4 Turbor Lasers), and 3 Xwings to that fight. Especially if there are Tie Advanced on those SD's (60 Turbo Lasers).

What is that 5 to 1 gun advantage for the Empire and a 96 to 1 fighter advantage.

I mean X-wings are good but not that good.
