@null it's set to 6 because the base game has this value (global constant xp gain multiplier) set to 3.
null 20 May @ 9:50am
Mitchel why in the FCS, the global constant xp gain multiplier its 6?
How its work?
DevilDog 8 May, 2024 @ 12:48pm

󠀡󠀡 5 Apr, 2024 @ 4:56am

Goobus_Shmoobus 12 Nov, 2023 @ 10:50am

this mod is broken, if you have it activated, ur gonna get no toughness exp from getting up, no matter of mod load list.
Chimaera 29 Apr, 2023 @ 6:21pm
lmao i was gonna get this but i saw that it effects the npcs too, that's be dangerous as hell lol
mental 18 Mar, 2023 @ 9:44pm
It is possible to edit it so only the player gets the XP effects?
N1A 10 Mar, 2023 @ 11:07pm
bad mod
RayZzz 9 Feb, 2023 @ 9:33am
If you put a mod on genesis, then genesis itself breaks down, in the city of dusty bandits, for example, you can't go to the second half of the camp, and the Cat won't spawn in the cage at all
Oh Hi Mark 7 Feb, 2023 @ 3:48am
Nice mod :)
M5sh1ne 15 Apr, 2022 @ 2:31am
hi, can create one mod that npc cant got the exp addition ...,only the players can got it.
MechsonPlays 13 May, 2021 @ 3:08pm
Pretty sure whats on bottom overrides whats on top. Thanks for answering.
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 13 May, 2021 @ 2:57pm
MechsonPlays: It changes the global XP rate, which will effect all races, even modded ones. However, if that mod sets its own global XP rate, it will override this one, so make sure this mod is at the top of your load order. (or bottom... can't remember how Kenshi does load orders)
MechsonPlays 13 May, 2021 @ 2:19pm
@Mitchell Godsend - Does this mod work for modded races like the ones added by genesis? Or do you have to make a patch yourself for the boost to work?
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 21 Feb, 2021 @ 2:31pm
Your_Neighbor: In your load order, make sure this mod is below Genesis and any other mods you may have. Mods lower than others in the load order will overwrite the mods above them that change the same things.
Your_Neighbor 21 Feb, 2021 @ 6:30am
Hi, I have a question: Does the mod work together with the genesis mod? If yes, how to make this mod work together with genesis mod? I'm having problems with it... Thanks in advance
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 18 Sep, 2020 @ 5:45am
Chronosmrk1: Every NPC & creature gets 2x XP even if they're in a different zone.
They still get the bonus XP even if they re/spawn after the game has been started.
As to whether or not importing a save would effect NPC's, that's actually a really good question...
You have the option to reset NPC's in the import save screen, but I'm not sure that is resets stats or if it just revives dead important NPC's.
Chronos 18 Sep, 2020 @ 4:26am
So I know npcs also get this xp bonus but do they oly get it when they are loaded in as in if I'm in Heng or something will the npcs around the map also continue to gain 2x xp? If they don't doesn't that mean npcs getting 2x xp doesn't matter if you keep moving? Also when you go back to an area do any none important npcs like guards re-spawn without the effects from the 2x xp gain. Also if you just import your game every so often would you negate the effects of npc 2x xp gains?
Willpowered 17 May, 2020 @ 6:45pm
Its probably got to do with naming the mod after yourself its hard to appear humble when you do that :), Thanks for making the mod!
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 24 Feb, 2020 @ 8:39am
Mr.Honsey: Well, I have this 2x version and a 5x version https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=796807327
And I don't want to post a whole bunch of different versions because I... for some reason... think it would reflect badly on me. I don't know why, just do lol.
However, I can absolutely show you how to edit the mod and change it yourself, if you'd like. It's very easy.
Bonbon 13 Feb, 2020 @ 10:52am
Could you make a exp 3x one ?
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 24 Jan, 2020 @ 9:49pm
One other thing to check is if you're using a mod that adds new races.
But along with what Dragon said, also check in your settings to see if you have the squad multiplier turned up (or whatever it's called)
Hostergaard 24 Jan, 2020 @ 2:49am
Might be what Dragon said, I looked trough my list and could not find any other xp mods. I guess I should check out skills.
Dragon 17 Jan, 2020 @ 10:14am
Depending on the mods you have, something that adds more NPCs can drastically affect how fast you level stealth, because you gain xp based on how many people can see you.
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 17 Jan, 2020 @ 6:29am
I assume you have another mod that is effecting either the global or racial XP gain rate.
You might want to go back through your mod list and check.
Hostergaard 17 Jan, 2020 @ 4:32am
I think there is something wrong with this mod, one walk trough Mongrel sneaking and I am at 50 stealth. I think its gaining way too fast, its like a 100x speed. not 2x.
Dragon 28 Dec, 2019 @ 10:45pm
x2 is probably the most balanced scenario for kenshi without feeling like the game is forcing you to grind.
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 25 Jul, 2019 @ 8:21am
Akwill: Nope! You can enable/disable at will and it will not mess anything up.
Akwill 25 Jul, 2019 @ 6:51am
Hello there. Is it important to start new game?
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 22 Mar, 2019 @ 1:45pm
theepicnoob55: No, sorry. We don't get that kind of functionality in the modding tools :/
$ A I И T 22 Mar, 2019 @ 1:25pm
Is it possible to release a version of this mod that does not effect the NPCs?
sky 14 Feb, 2019 @ 11:29am
Yes.
Warnoise 14 Feb, 2019 @ 12:28am
Question: Does the NPC also gain EXP 2x?
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 6 Feb, 2019 @ 11:52am
DexWave YT: It gives you twice the usual amount of experience!
denka_nicee 30 Jan, 2019 @ 6:48am
What this mod are doing?
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 2 Jan, 2019 @ 4:25am
Whatever it ends up being, I hope you get it fixed!
It would be very strange if it does end up being this mod though...
It currently has 4,988 subscribers and was initially released November 10, 2016, and I can honestly say that after all this time, you're the first to say that this mod and/or my training dummies mod is causing crashes.
As a matter of fact, I've never got any reports of any of my mods causing crashes. Hopefully, I can keep that reputation up.
If you need any help with anything, let me know and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
dgm1280 2 Jan, 2019 @ 3:54am
Three files needed replacing after verifying, probably because of the first crash. I have the day off so i'll spend some time on it this afternoon and keep you informed.
now I'm thinking about it the first time the game crashed was without mods and was due to microsoft(peenarse) updates reseting my machine without asking me first. I really hate WINDOWS10 for this. this is most likely the cause.
dgm1280 2 Jan, 2019 @ 3:41am
Amd 3850, 32gb corsair DDR3, Nvidia 750ti.
I tested it with just the better dummies last night and it ran solid for three hours without issue, yet when I ran with training x2 it crashed twice after 35 and 45minutes :(
Prior to installing the training mod it never crashed once so I spose I can just ust the dummies mod :)
Gonna also verify the integrity of the game files now and see...
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 1 Jan, 2019 @ 10:20pm
dgm1280; This mod should work with all versions of the game, even the older beta versions. That's a pretty crazy problem though, you're definitely the first I've heard of that has said anything about your game crashing from it.
I can't think of any reason as to why it would be crashing...
Kenshi does use quite a bit of ram and really isn't that friendly with HDD's.
What are your computer's specs?
dgm1280 1 Jan, 2019 @ 6:57pm
Is this latest patch ready?
I have tried both x5 and x2 both freeze my PC after an hour or two real time while using on dummies. It is not a BSOD but I have to reset my PC which pi***s me off.
However, I have been running it with your improved dummies mod, level 25 for tier one and if I just run the dummies mod without this mod it appears to work fine and it never breaks my PC
Idea's?
Solidus 14 Dec, 2018 @ 9:02pm
Wow, I was looking for this for sooooo long, incredible MOD, as another user already said: -GRIND = + FUN! Keep the amazing work thumbs up, well deserved :steamhappy:
Armorguy1 24 Nov, 2018 @ 6:16pm
Yeah, i know what you mean. It's kinda ridiculous. I ahave those sliders always set at maximum fr that reason. I mean it's not like it makes the game any easier does it.
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 24 Nov, 2018 @ 4:03pm
Mr. Chiweenie; Glad you’re enjoying it :D
Mr. Anonymous 24 Nov, 2018 @ 2:13pm
Less grinding=More fun. This is perfect for me without making the game too easy.
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 10 Nov, 2018 @ 4:17pm
Armorguy1: No worries, it took me a long time to answer you back the first time as well lol.
There's actually more than a few people attempting to do that right now but it seems to be impossible with the current tools (and limited engine access) modders have been given.
It's not that it is a limit imposed by the engine itself, it's just not a function given to modders.
I fully agree with you, though. I would LOVE to have that in the game, even though it would render this mod (and my other exp mod) obsolete.
I genuinely doubt they would add it, though, unfortunately.
Lo-Fi seems to have a specific vision for the game along the lines of 'not quite real-life but somewhat realistic,' and everything in it right now takes a LONG time to do. Like, have you tried to craft some of the heavy armors? They can take in-game DAYS for one piece!
Armorguy1 10 Nov, 2018 @ 7:05am
Unless i'm dead wrong ofcourse...
Armorguy1 10 Nov, 2018 @ 7:05am
@OPG: very late answer back lol. I still wish the devs would just give us a slider option to choose the exp rate of the game. I mean there already are those for building, researching and some other stuff. Why no this too? It'll have to be a "solid" sider though where you could change from 1-5 but not 1.1 or 1.5. I don't think the engine can handle that for some reason.
Sottom 14 Oct, 2018 @ 4:10am
ok Thx :)
Mitchell Godsend  [author] 13 Oct, 2018 @ 4:05pm
UlyssesLionheart: Whichever one is the higher priority will overwrite the lesser.
