How its work?
They still get the bonus XP even if they re/spawn after the game has been started.
As to whether or not importing a save would effect NPC's, that's actually a really good question...
You have the option to reset NPC's in the import save screen, but I'm not sure that is resets stats or if it just revives dead important NPC's.
And I don't want to post a whole bunch of different versions because I... for some reason... think it would reflect badly on me. I don't know why, just do lol.
However, I can absolutely show you how to edit the mod and change it yourself, if you'd like. It's very easy.
But along with what Dragon said, also check in your settings to see if you have the squad multiplier turned up (or whatever it's called)
You might want to go back through your mod list and check.
It would be very strange if it does end up being this mod though...
It currently has 4,988 subscribers and was initially released November 10, 2016, and I can honestly say that after all this time, you're the first to say that this mod and/or my training dummies mod is causing crashes.
As a matter of fact, I've never got any reports of any of my mods causing crashes. Hopefully, I can keep that reputation up.
If you need any help with anything, let me know and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
now I'm thinking about it the first time the game crashed was without mods and was due to microsoft(peenarse) updates reseting my machine without asking me first. I really hate WINDOWS10 for this. this is most likely the cause.
I tested it with just the better dummies last night and it ran solid for three hours without issue, yet when I ran with training x2 it crashed twice after 35 and 45minutes :(
Prior to installing the training mod it never crashed once so I spose I can just ust the dummies mod :)
Gonna also verify the integrity of the game files now and see...
I can't think of any reason as to why it would be crashing...
Kenshi does use quite a bit of ram and really isn't that friendly with HDD's.
What are your computer's specs?
I have tried both x5 and x2 both freeze my PC after an hour or two real time while using on dummies. It is not a BSOD but I have to reset my PC which pi***s me off.
However, I have been running it with your improved dummies mod, level 25 for tier one and if I just run the dummies mod without this mod it appears to work fine and it never breaks my PC
Idea's?
There's actually more than a few people attempting to do that right now but it seems to be impossible with the current tools (and limited engine access) modders have been given.
It's not that it is a limit imposed by the engine itself, it's just not a function given to modders.
I fully agree with you, though. I would LOVE to have that in the game, even though it would render this mod (and my other exp mod) obsolete.
I genuinely doubt they would add it, though, unfortunately.
Lo-Fi seems to have a specific vision for the game along the lines of 'not quite real-life but somewhat realistic,' and everything in it right now takes a LONG time to do. Like, have you tried to craft some of the heavy armors? They can take in-game DAYS for one piece!
