You'll have to do more than that. Soft shadowless lights, even if they have zero boost, will lighten metallic surfaces so long as they are within range of the model.
It's bug abuse basically. If I left it at the default brightness and you added even one light the model would suddenly glow eyesearingly bright. As such they're set very dim by default. This way you have some method of control without needing extensive knowledge of the material system.
