Not sure if bug, feature or exploit, but I stopped playing ARK for several months. When I left, I had a quiet generator going. On return, I loaded with no mods active on accident. Then I reloaded with all my old mods active. Now everything in my base is powered, but there is no generator powering it, at least nothing visible. And I can walk around the spot that used to be occupied by my generator. Not sure if it will stop working whenever whatever fuel was there previously runs out, but this could be a eternal power source. Certainly seems to be an indestructable one for now.

thank god for this mod. I placed my old generators so far away to escape the noise I would get back on servers to find them missing.

Thanks very much for this mod. I'd put a generator on my boat. The noise was driving me nuts. This replacement worked perfectly.
