@ vitalii201 - Ah, very good.

@modelcitizen, I changed the name of the picture(as described in the previous post) and the preview in the menu is displayed as it should.
Thanks for the interesting asset.

@ vitalii201 - Could you do me a favor and unsubscribe/subscribe and see if the thumbnail gets fixed? It seems every time I upgrade a mod it causes grief for a few people. For what it's worth, I'm not seeing a blue square on this end. Hopefully, re-subscribing will fix it for you.

Must be …\800631497\res\textures\ui\construction\asset\track_multi_watertower_1. Now …\track_multi_watertank_durango and blue square https://i.imgur.com/YQmh3dw.jpg

@hamtgerry - Yes, this was one of my first mods released on the workshop. I've since learned that everyone doesn't play the game the same way I do and that availability dates on assets are not always a good idea. With that said, I have plans to update most of my earlier mods sometime in the future and removing the restrictions on when they are available. Thanks.

This, along with your other water towers and "sandhouse," are among my favorite asset addons. I was sad to see the game year hit 1960 and lose the ability to place them, as I have Time Warp installed and set to 1932 so will have steam centric rail lines forever. (Time Warp, alas, does not address structures.) Is it possible that at some point you create alternate versions of these mods with no end date? Or maybe provide a user configurable mod.lua (or other) setting for those in my situation or who just enjoy running steam trains for the duration? In any case, great work.

I place these at rural road crossings out in the middle of nowhere, it really spices them up! Thank you again kind sir.

@ Brockster17 - That's a pretty bold statement. I can assure you this is my own creation.

You do EXCELLENT work! I'm proud to be able to use your wonderful "mods". Thanks again.

@Tall_Paul - Thanks, Paul, for the name suggestion. I'm in the process of reviewing all of my submissions to the Workshop and making chages or improvements where needed. Your suggestion will be a part of my updates to the water tanks. Thanks a lot for your support.

Sir, Another GREAT asset that is non only well detailed, but extremely USEFUL!.
I have only one slight suggestion, these were called water TANKS, not water towers. With a "mod" as excellent as this I thought you'd want to rename it correctly.
I'm a railroad historian and worked as a conductor for BNSF for about 10 years. I was a volunteer fireman on a steam powered tourist railroad, too.
Thanks again for another GREAT "mod". -"Tall Paul"

if only vehicles had fuel consumptions

ok

Hey LONDONMIDLANDZZ,
Thanks for your comments. Making these as just scenery assets was intentional. Having an old wooden water tower as a waypoint in 1850 makes perfect sense. In 1980, not so much. I was concerned that people would want to delete these post steam-era and a lot of well planned routes would be negatively affected. Having said all that, there is an invisible waypoint here on the Workshop that might be a viable solution. Thanks again. :)

if only this game came with actual fuel comsumption of the vehicles
i could email them
Northerner Transport Hub 10 Jun, 2017 @ 10:30am
good asset, do u rekon u could make these as waypoints or signals? that way steam engines would be able to stop at em
Skyroamers_boy 25 Jan, 2017 @ 5:17am
Oh. Okay! Maybe one of these days somebody will make an addon that overhauls the vehicles so trucks stop at gas stations and trains refuel ect. All we can do is hope, I guess. Thank you for replying to my question.
modelcitizen  [author] 24 Jan, 2017 @ 4:28pm
Skyroamers,
Steam engines stopping for water would be great, but no, these are just for looks.
Skyroamers_boy 24 Jan, 2017 @ 1:33pm
(Same with the sandhouse and other water towers) Is this just for looks? Or does it serve a purpose i.e. Steam engines will stop to fill with water now.
RolandBP 21 Dec, 2016 @ 6:52pm
Looks fantastic. Downloading it to try.

Monterico
Thanks for the heads up about the water tower. Was not aware of that.
Monte Plays Games 22 Nov, 2016 @ 11:39am
Great mod. FYI I loaded up a game in 1990 and the Water Tower is still around. The Sandhouse however seems to be working as expected. Love these mods. Hoping for more.

This model looks great in-game. Thanks for adding it
modelcitizen  [author] 16 Nov, 2016 @ 8:03pm
Herrbear,
This is an asset only. I didn't want to design it as a waypoint because some might want to delete it after the steam era is past. That could mess up routes that were dependent on them.
Herrbear 16 Nov, 2016 @ 5:02pm
Thank you. It is a nice addition. Is it just an asset or can it be assigned as a waypoint?
modelcitizen  [author] 16 Nov, 2016 @ 12:15pm
butterbaum,
witti_witt 16 Nov, 2016 @ 7:28am
Gute Arbeit,Dankeschön !
