It sounds like you selected a different soldier in the lobby before resuming your save. You have to select the top (player 1) slot every time when you're hosting a game. This could be the only explanation for spawning at the bottom corner as that's where I put all of the playable troops in editor.

Thank you for this, just what I have been looking for. I have found however when I return to a game that has been saved, that I spawn at the bottom left of the map without my squad (I could still hear their com chatter) and even found my way back to where I had saved the game to find my character still their standing around, even had my name and everything! Is this a known issue or do you suppose potential mod conflict?

- Added US Gerneral Equipment and Accessories FOW/IFA3 as a REQUIRED MOD!!!!
- Changed out most of the IFA AI's for US General Equipment and Accessories Ai's as they look way better.

Just tested that and its about 8-10 rounds to half a mag, if you look at the mp40's impact in arsenal its really low so i'm pretty sure its always been a weak weapon in IFA. Not sure what other mods you're using.
The way i've set up the new revive system means you can take 1-2 rifle hits before going down, the mp40 is just weak as piss. I haven't really put many enemies in that use the MP40 other than AT soldiers, I just switched any others out with the German that uses the STG44 wherever I could in the last update.

Hello, allied troops can take as much as two full magazines from mp-40, is that intentional? Or it is just my problem caused by some additional mod? Thank you for answer

UPDATE: Fixed allied and German vehicles not spawning due to IFA3 changes to factions. Added enemy vehicles to side Missions. Added more infantry to side missions. Changed revive system to newer version. Added the mod Faces of War German Voices Fix.

Just noticed that IFA3 changed some faction related stuff so for example they removed luftwaffe and panzerwaffe as a faction and put it all under the umbrella of wehrmacht and did the same with the red army so a fair bit of this will not be working properly, ie no planes or tanks spawning dynamically for either side. Haven't checked if they did the same thing to Allied factions yet. I MAY have finally cracked to the pressure of people asking for a Germans Vs Allies version, thinking about doing it for the Italy campaign where the Germans were defending against operation Husky. I'll try to fix these all soon, rather busy atm with work, red dead and jedi fallen order is next.

I'm having some BAD Fps drops. It starts nice and smooth but over time as the match goes on the FPS goes from 60 to-an unplayable and sluggish 10 FPS at around 40 minutes in and doesn't get better. I had this same exact issue with the original DUWS. Another version of DUWS (DUWS RHS) had a AI limiter which really helped because as it stands right now. If I add more than what seems to be 3 or 4 zones, the FPS just tanks because the AI are spawning faster than I am taking them out.

As i said, when the officer was gone. I did restart.
I persisted with the rest because my friends want to play rather than wait for me to figure it out. the officer stayed put through the whole of this session. But could not build a FOB

The officer literally cannot leave, the code stops him from moving so......maybe are you using an extra mod thats messing with shit....I dunno that shouldn't happen, and theoretically can't happen. I don't know why you didn't just restart the game...I mean why the fuck did you persist?

Just had a really bad experience with this. First run of the mission, the main officer left the HQ. No idea where he went. Rebooted the server and restarted. This time I think it started when i got knocked down (by a camp fire of all things). I lost control of my squad and things just didnt work right. We captured a camp but had no option to place a FOB. Then i logged out and tried to connect again as the host/admin and i couldn't get back in. Was stuck on the receiving mission file. So ended that and chose another slot. Got in and still could not place a FOB. Tried the admin slot again and still no connection. Not sure what was happening.
In the end we managed to take the island (no side missions as could not create them due to no admin access) by leaving a squad member in each of the locations.
Was over too quickly with only 3 players playing.
Did i do something wrong? There was no option for FOB under 0-8 and nothing to unlock.

you can play through the multiplayer menu's for singleplayer and Coop, just select the corresponding map which is Neaville in this case and the mission should come up on the right. I will only be able to play this with you if you are in Australia or NZ as my internet is sstuck in the late 90's. What country are you in?

Added Halo jump alone and ai halo jump support purchase
Updated the dynamic music script to use my own music mod (DANG'S DUWS-R MUSIC MOD), which is listed above in required items. Soundtrack type now can chosen in the parameters tab in the soldier select lobby. Currently only two choices exist - Fury Soundtrack and Mixed (Band of brothers, Fury and other random ww2 songs).
Added the Mk1 Crusader AA tank to high command squad purchase for some much needed AA support.

I'm not sure,i just heard someone had done it from Ultranoobian, the main duws-r dev. He runs the vanilla version on the workshop. We also run a discord channel that should be on his duws-r page, you could ask there or on his workshop page. If one does exist it probably will be just vanilla.

Added more options for special operatives type in the parameters in soldier select lobby for 101st and 82nd Airborne from FoW and 101st and 82nd from IFA3.
Added/updated the existing dynamic music script with songs fro ultimate music collection - UMC with songs from fury and other WW2 era songs.
***NEW MOD*** - is listed above on the right in required items for dynamic music in game.

There is no problem with the mines : in the version from ultranoobian (if I'm correct), you can choose on startup if there will be minefields or IEDs on the road. Could be a great addition on some maps IMO.
Agreed with you for the garrisonning. I'll stay with MCC to tune this part.

Whats the problem with the mines? I would like to eventually make a arsenal whitelist so that only WW2 weapons are available though, I'm working on one with the main insurgency game mode dev for WW2, I may be able to reverse engineer it into DUWS-R. Garrisoning troops may come one day, but it will have be something that Ultranoobian does for the original, then I can put it into these. He eventually may rewrite most of the code as its old and not very efficient.

The Special operatives that you can hire and upgrade now have unlimited ammo, whenever they reload whatever weapon, another mag gets added into their inventory. Yeah in coop if you and another player are in the same squad, it can mess with the AI, there is a function on the commander in the main base to reset squad leader, I've never used it as if i play with friends we just join different squads to avoid AI probs. I'm not quite sure why it is even there as a function as to be honest I don't know what it does or what it is for but it sounds like its there to fix AI probs. I'm relatively new to the DUWS-R code having upgraded all my missions from DUWS relatively recently. I'm also not much of a coder believe it or not, I just taught myself how to convert other peoples work to different mods but I do talk with the DUWS-R main dev Ultranoobian so I'll run it by him.

First thank for this work, it's really a great version of DUWS-R. Working really good and a lot of fun.
Couple of comments:
+ I cannot figure how to have the IA squatmates to refill ammo. Despite having an ammo truck in the base, I cannot give orders to IA suqad to do so. Can you tell me where my mistake is?
+ I'm using the Shacktak HUD with my buddies and sometimes on respawn we are not grouped anymore, making this HUD useless. A workaround is to enable dynamic groups: (["InitializePlayer", [player]] call BIS_fnc_dynamicGroups; in the intPlayerLocal.sqf) and (["Initialize"] call BIS_fnc_dynamicGroups; in the initServer.sqf). May I kindly you ask to put those files in the main version, so I do not have to edit the .pbo after your updates?
+ Do you think having the mines available in the last DUWS-R is a good idea?
+ Currently there is no garnisson troops. I'm using the MCC to populate the buildings, but you may have a better idea I can look upon.

Update:
Fixed an Error in the zones capture part of the code that did not allow for the enemy to recapture zones
Gave unlimited ammo to high command squads (not HC vehicles)
Removed Faces of War Compatability Patch as a requirement as it was sometimes creating issues when they update.
Removed the ability to play through Singleplayer Scenarios as this is meant to be played through multiplayer LAN (SP) or Internet game (coop)
Reduced the CP cost of planes as new Iron Front planes config made enemy planes way more deadly to ground units

Yeah some can be strangely named. Just go into the arma 3 editor with IFA 3 AIO LITE or whatever other map mod you want a map from, select the map you want, eg. Staszow and save as "whatever filename". Then go to your my documents folder or libraries\documents\arma 3\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\"your profile"(if you have made more than 1 profile in arma3)\missions folder or libraries\documents\arma 3\missions (if you have made only one profile in arma 3). This is where any editor made missions are saved, you should see the editor mission folder that you made called "whatever Filename.Staszow". Rinse and repeat for other map names.

There is no limiter anymore, I updated to DUWS-R which doesn't have one, however I would like to put one back in as it breaks arma 3 when units get above 150. AI brains will stop working at that point and depending on your PC FPS will drop significantly.
