Thanks, finished it and it does work: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2103277525 . Although you will see some more vegetation spread out, since your view distance of 10 did hide those. Another question, did you already use the minimal settings for 'min # of copies' and 'max # of copies' for the shrubs, rosebushes and waste? Since I did try setting '0' for minimal and '1' for max on those, but got an error when using that.

Is it okay if I try this out with your mod? Since I think the cleanest way to test it is using it as a mod through Steam and keep the dat004.cpk as it is for the game.

In Mica's Extended Foliage mod, the following was done to prevent grass popping up out of nowhere: "I've also extended the view range of all vegetation by 5x. You shouldn't notice any pop-in of vegetation anymore." Could the same be done for this mod to improve it?
