Yep, 2 minutes. Anyway, fun stuff
Nobody No-One 26 Oct, 2018 @ 5:44pm
I enjoyed it. Agreed with Libbybapa that it's surprisingly easy for a toncica map. Thumbs up.

Wow, a two-minute blind run on a Toncica map. Whoodathunkit? https://youtu.be/-K4KJcxNsEM

Celebrations! :D

i cant believe it i solved a toncica map all by my self. i dont even care that the description says its simple. im proud. haha
toncica  [author] 18 Feb, 2016 @ 6:01pm
That speaks for your motivation, very nice. I once made the same promise to myself but there might come a map with a wall that's just too thick. I still remember the name of the map that broke my cherry and made me watch the solution.

Your videos look like you're all set. Skill shouldn't be a problem for you. Only Cognitive Dissonance (complex) requires more skill than usual.
N Twirl 18 Feb, 2016 @ 5:18pm
When I hit a wall, I will skip and come back but never take a look at a walkthrough (I promised this to myself... ). That pleasure comes at the end :). Worst case, I can solve the map with a friend (thinking both on the same problem). But I won't try any map with too many ninja/agility skills if it is clearly stated in the description, which I believe relates to very few maps of yours.
toncica  [author] 18 Feb, 2016 @ 10:06am
@N Twirl, oh wow, good luck with that. It says you have only 100 hours of playtime, that makes me worried. Some maps are very advanced and only solvable by very experienced players, sometimes skill is involved. Read the descriptions and apply common sense, that means look for hints or take a look into walkthroughs when you hit a wall.
N Twirl 18 Feb, 2016 @ 7:33am
Not much to say here, so I'll say that I'm on a marathon on all your maps, each other map that I solve will be one of yours. I hope I won't die before that (I saw some terrifying comments about some^^). But for now, I'm fine :).

Should play this before prison break2013. Simple and tricky!
Prototype 17 Aug, 2013 @ 1:44am
Nice easy puzzle, similar to one of mine except I think the layout of this one makes finding the solution easier.
Maidi 15 Aug, 2013 @ 7:39am
I was amazed :)
toncica  [author] 7 Apr, 2013 @ 9:15am
Hey stormsend, you're on a puzzle solving spree. Good man! :D
stormsend 7 Apr, 2013 @ 9:01am
I liked that. Very nice. And a little tricky. Thank you.
toncica  [author] 15 Mar, 2013 @ 4:49am
I don't think there is anything unconventional about this simple test. You probably did something I didn't foresee. One cube can be spawned with a pedestal button, the other cube's dropper has no button. That's all. The test is solved by pressing that button once.
wildgoosespeeder 14 Mar, 2013 @ 9:23pm
Is sacrificing both cubes part of the solution? I ask because it is definitely an unconventional way of solving tests.
Hazelton 5 Mar, 2013 @ 12:13am
Clever little test. Even though I saw what I had to do, it took me a few tries to put the elements together properly. Good puzzle.

:(
I was hoping they would help.
well, that is life.
I made walkthrough video's, when I 1st made maps.
but I stopped making them, for the same reason.
the updates made them more confusing to the player.
thankyou for telling me.
but these maps are still educational :)
toncica  [author] 28 Feb, 2013 @ 2:17am
I bet you felt like Innocentive. ;)
When I think about it the other two "Preparations" should be renamed, because they have nothing to do anymore with Prison Break after all the changes I have done to the map. So don't expect to see anything related to Prison Break on Preparations II and III.
mood3rd 28 Feb, 2013 @ 2:07am
good lesson.
I should have done this before attempting prison break.
toncica  [author] 12 Nov, 2012 @ 11:15am
Well, the Preparations were intended to make the puzzles from the map Prison Break more accessible. Preparations Three (normal version) got watered down and was left pretty breakable though, so I don't really recommend playing that one. It was later transformed into a stand-alone map under the name "The Asylum".
Innocentive 12 Nov, 2012 @ 10:23am
This test was fun. Made me feel like Cesar: I came, I looked around and I exited. Thanks for a fun challenge ... I'm a bit worried though about the big task coming up ;) Well, this is the first map of yours that I'm playing. Seems like an appropriate introduction without scaring me away!
Andi 1 Nov, 2012 @ 3:34pm
I like this one. Not overly hard but clever at the same time. Thumbs up.
Aykut ( Dreamer) 4 Oct, 2012 @ 4:05am
at first, i was anxious, because it seems to be to easy and i believed it would be hard like your other chambers, but the first thing i thought is right. The experience with your other chambers make us think crazy ^^ But the titel says "Preparations One", so this titel fits to this chamber, i like it.
ufuksaygun 26 Sep, 2012 @ 1:46pm
Simple and well designed. Giving good taste. I need someone try my chambers and give comments.
Baxter 20 Sep, 2012 @ 1:07pm
This is the kind of test I love, very nice!
toncica  [author] 27 Jul, 2012 @ 3:43pm
Hoybot, you had me at "card". :D
It's probably gonna take a while before I can play them though. For now I'll just follow.
Hoybot 27 Jul, 2012 @ 2:03pm
I liked that! Simple design - with a bit of a thinker. Nice.

...and I'm not even going to tell you I liked your card - or ask you to check out my maps...
J/\S0|\|R0S 24 Jul, 2012 @ 7:20pm
I've been playing many other games and I got kinda burned out on map design. I may be back but some of my later tests were so comprehensive that as a designer, I'm not sure what else I can add to the mix. Reshuffling my existing ideas or getting ridiculously hard... it bears thought.

So you don't worry overmuch, I only tried one other test of yours, Prison Break, before doing something else. It was too noisy right away for my tastes, tons of visible elements immediately, and my brain just shuts down when I see that.

It doesn't mean it's a bad test; I saw XLR8B (or whatever his name is) liked it and that's pretty high praise. It's just a matter of personal preference.
toncica  [author] 24 Jul, 2012 @ 7:16pm
Oh hi, I thought you stopped with Portal. Haven't seen any new maps from you in a while. While you liked this one, I guess that means the other maps weren't fun for you if you tried them. And if you haven't, I can tell you the maps prison break and obscurity really have tons of puzzle elements. :(
J/\S0|\|R0S 24 Jul, 2012 @ 6:45pm
You asked for feedback awhile ago; this one was nice. Good difficulty without tons of puzzle items, my favorite kind of test.
red iiis 14 Jul, 2012 @ 9:44am
Is LPChip right? Thats all I did was swap cubes . Is that the solution?

I got a couple you should try. APERTURE Math #2 and 1 Laser 2 CUBES 3 Catchers.
Let me know what you think.

StayTainted™ 12 Jul, 2012 @ 11:56am
this is a really good test fun/hard. thats the way its needs to go. but your test is missing seomthing i dont now what, its just not compleet jet :p . sir i will follow you.
LPChip 8 Jul, 2012 @ 1:30pm
Hahahahaha awesome response! :D
toncica  [author] 6 Jul, 2012 @ 3:49pm
I've aquired the mentality of a turret. I don't hate you. Would you come over here, to my next test? No hard feelings...

:D
LPChip 6 Jul, 2012 @ 4:31am
hehe. I don't mind. I'll throw it as easily through the 4th row. :P now its more fun... more challenging X)

yeah, I know, I suck, you hate me, and all that kind of stuff.

my response: I love you too. :D
toncica  [author] 5 Jul, 2012 @ 11:01am
That's true, probably should remove another row of portal surfaces. Sigh.
LPChip 5 Jul, 2012 @ 9:58am
I do :P but this throwing anyone can do its just one cell up. I could've put it there even without throwing.
toncica  [author] 5 Jul, 2012 @ 9:36am
Alright, I'm not gonna intervene to prevent you from throwing. But you do realize you have a throwing addiction, right? ;)
LPChip 5 Jul, 2012 @ 9:25am
I've solved it. yay. Nice map.
Due to your unforgivable hard map, it teached me some tricks and I was able to do the map using a different solution than you probably have in mind. But it was fun and nice to do it this way, and without playing your other map I probably wouldn't have solved it this easily.
I swapped the cube and got the other cube by throwing it into my portal, then took the faithplate, used the pedestal button to get the other cube.

This means I didn't have to use the funnel at all.
toncica  [author] 5 Jul, 2012 @ 7:14am
You mean the solution is not obvious in the first 5 seconds. There is nothing hidden on the map! :)
Savio 5 Jul, 2012 @ 1:17am
Okay, I deleted previous comments. I can't believe that I was soooo stupid! Test is simply, but solution is hidden (imo, ofc!) :)
