thanks :D though it doesn't have an internal reference to the actual world rotation like yours has with the spring gyro, i see if i can do that vanilla in the next scanline... that would make for much better jumps!

This is AWESOME. I like mine, but mine uses a BUNCH of mod blocks. Yours is straight up awesome, and uses all vanilla blocks, too. Nice!

yeah, i could have tuned it to hover more smooth, but that also causes it to respond less to changes in the ground level (since smoothing rejects details).

nice thing! performs much better than mine, but its pretty rocky. Right now im working on a new method of handling the hovering action, most likely for biger crafts, but this gave me an idea. Ill try and use powerful electric engines for the same purpose you use controllers with double bearings

The controllers attempt to filter out the anoying bounce you normally get in hover systems, by having the sensors scan and also control their own scanning speed & angle, there is also a secondary system that fires angular thrusters when there is too much roll/pitch/yaw motion.
