How do I download this map?

I have no grain farms on this map. Could that be caused by New Industry mod I use on it?..

Also some of Canada! 🇨🇦

Updated this mod, dropping in Fort Wayne and taking out Milwaukee.

I also created a West Coast Map, check it out here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1166033641

Thanks for playing - G

Love the map, I was wondering if you could add the City of Fort Wayne Indiana, and Gary Indiana. Also if you do Gary is known for its steel industry, so maybe goods. And Fort Wayne could be a farm production facility

I try to get the map to work but it just gives me the plain old vanilla scatter map.
Shrimply Pibbles 20 Dec, 2016 @ 1:39pm

You select a Custom Scenario, choose Advanced. I have it set to Vehicles: American, Terrian: European, Town names: Default, Trees: European, Buildings: American, Streets: American, Environment: European, Scenario: USA. Make sure to Save it and you'll have USA vehicles and a green environment. Thanks for subbing.

Grendil  [author] 15 Dec, 2016 @ 6:43am
I don't think that the map will work on medium. This comes with only one map, and it's a large one. 4097x4097.
Elijah1 15 Dec, 2016 @ 6:19am
dus the map work on medum?
lantrizzle 13 Dec, 2016 @ 12:43pm
This is a great map! Thanks for the effort you put in to making it. I've spent tons of time building a road and rail network on it. I live in this part of the U.S. Very cool to be able to play in familiar territory.

I'm glad you like the videos Grendil! Thanks for making the map I will definitely feature the improved map at some point.
Grendil  [author] 1 Dec, 2016 @ 2:55pm
Thanks for the input everybody, it's made for a better map. And the videos you're doing AShadowbox are great! Too bad it's not the newer map, like you said, but it's cool seeing you play on it :)

Thank you for the updates. This map is phenominal! I would add some screenshots to show the updates as well to attract more people. Again thank you for your work on this.

Very nicely detailed map, good work there mate. Only problem that I see is the lack of iron and coal. The north central and north eastern part of the map should have many more coal and iron deposits. This map is also considered the heartlands of America. I use to play this all the time on Sid Mier's Railroad Tycoon. The eastern part was very heavy in the steel production so it would be nice to see something to reflect this. Great map, oh and one more thing the Mississippi river is missing very important waterway for business. My suggestion is to split up the map into North and South 16 x 16 or 16 x 32 whichever one woks best. The South was heavy in the oil production which is shown appropriately on this map. Cheers

I am enjoying the map but I think it would be much better if you could please add the Mississippi river, as it's a huge geological feature of the area. We could do so much with ships if it was there! Thanks for making the map, I've actually started a YouTube series with it.

good job on mod
Monte Plays Games 22 Nov, 2016 @ 10:17am
I started a hard game on it last night. Working out well. I am using the USA desert style. I enjoy the size of the map and hope to see some terrain modification over time. Thanks for this. :104:
Mularkey 21 Nov, 2016 @ 12:55pm
Love this map! Thank you ever so much. As with the poster below, it would be good to see Toronto and if I may, perhaps Kingston, Ontario as well.
ComplaintsDept. 21 Nov, 2016 @ 4:41am
I like this map, it's the one I've got most hours on.
But I think it could benefit from a few more tweaks.
I think you need to add 4 more cities:
Mobile, Raleigh, Toronto and Montreal to fill in some big spaces in what are in reality pretty well populated areas.
And if you add in the Canadian cities then you'll need a couple more forests and a sawmill up in that area.
Just a thought...
Thanks for a great map
jrcam4643 20 Nov, 2016 @ 8:51pm
I think this tries to cover too much. I would like to see this map cut into quarters and have four seperate maps. That way you could have more detail such as rivers and more towns in there geographic area.
Andrew Leo 20 Nov, 2016 @ 8:42pm
I was doing the same thing except I used large airports instead of medium.
Grendil  [author] 20 Nov, 2016 @ 7:32pm
Thanks for trying out the map. I hope you're not still having problems with the airports.

I just set up a game for 1950 and dropped 3 medium airports. Milwaukee, Detroit, and Jacksonville. Put up some Trams, connecting other cities around them to the airports. After about 3 years I was making a profit on the planes.

So I'm not sure what's wrong. How are you trying to use aircraft?
Andrew Leo 20 Nov, 2016 @ 2:43pm
I'm not sure if it's my game or not, but I can't use airplanes.
conrail4ever 20 Nov, 2016 @ 12:57pm
